Anyone else pick up the new Do Or Die? I am VERY impressed. "Victory" was an OK albuma to me, but I wasn't as pleased with it as I would have liked to be.. but I think this one is a big step up.

1) "Beyond The Surface"
This is an excellent track to start off the album. The beat is amazing in itself. All 3 members come off hard as hell. I give it a 10/10!
2) "Ain't No Punk"
This beat isn't as good as the first one.. but is still good. The chorus is very catchy, had it stuck in my head all day. The flows are also on point. 9/10
3) "Sex Appeal" feat. Twista and Johnny P.
The first 2 songs were hard as hell, but Do Or Die is known for their laid back, pimp songs. Well here is the first one of the album. This song is really laidback.. and I think the title is self-explanitory. Some straight smooth shit here. Twista comes hard as usual. 9/10
4) "Diamenz" feat. Johnny P.
This is the first track on the album that I didn't think was "amazing". The beat is kinda mainstream sounding, but they compensate by flowing perfectly to it. Johnny P. adds nicely to it, as he does throughout the album. I give it an 8.5/10, taking off 1 point for the beat. But like I said, they flow greatly with it.. and it definitely grows on me the more I hear it.
5) "I Got A Problem" feat. Yung Buk
This is another hardcore track. The production is very nice on this one.. and to no surprise, they all come nicely. 8/10
6) "We Are Here"
Another AMAZING beat. Flows are crazy on this one. Yet to be dissapointed. 8.5/10
7) "3 A.M." feat. Johnny P
YES! Another laidback, pimp ass track. I'm REALLY feeling this one. Johnny P.'s hooks are just too smooth. Some classic Do Or Die shit here. 10/10
8) "Secret Indictment"
The production is done nicely once again on this one. Not a standout track, but really good nonetheless. 8/10
9) "Dead Homies" feat. Johnny P.
The title for this one is self-explanitory. A nice, laidback song about "dead homies". Some real shit here.. 8/10
10) "That's My Car" feat. Johnny P.
A nice laidback track, with nice laidback production. 8.5/10
11) Menage A Trois feat. Johnny P.
Another laidback, pimpin track. I'm feeling this one alot. It's about fucking, of course. Some smooth flows on this one. 9/10
12) "Touchdown"
After a line of laidback tracks, it's about due time for another hard track.. and here we have it. I REALLY like this one.. some good flows, with a classic Do Or Die chorus.. another good beat. 10/10
13) "Don't Touch My Money"
Probably my least favorite track of the album, but that's not saying much at all. Not feeling this chorus as much, but as usual.. some nice flows. 7.5/10
14) Diamenz feat. Johnny P. (Remix)-Bonus track
I said that the OG version of this was more mainstream sounding, but I also said that they flowed perfectly to it. Well this is a more Do Or Die fitted beat, but the flows don't compliment it as much as they did with the first one. I actually like the original one better. 7/10

Overall--This is the best album that I've bought in a while. As you can see by the tracklisting, Johnny P. is on here quite a bit.. but he definitely adds nicely to each of the songs that he is on. His chorus's are just too smooth. If you're trying to compare.. I think that "Picture This" was the best.. it's classic, so I'd still have to say that it was better then this one. I think that this is as good OR better then "Headz Or Tailz", which I liked alot.. and I think it's definitely better then "Victory". To anyone who is a Do Or Die fan.. I'm sure you don't need to hear this, but just in case... BUY THIS ALBUM! The production is great, and the flows are even better.

9/10

I'm glad to see everyone else likes it as much as I do. I've been a big Do Or Die fan for years.. and I'm glad that they haven't fallen off one bit. I've listened to it the whole way through about 9 times since I posted that review.. and I like it more and more.

Quick question.. I remember seeing Johnny P. ads in old Rap-A-Lot CD covers.. did that ever come out? I mean I've thought he was cool since "Po Pimp", but after this.. I'd actually consider buying his CD for the times I'm in the R&B mood. I don't listen to R&B very much.. but alot of times I get in the mood and put on some TQ, Aaliyah, or Jodeci. If it did drop and anyone's heard it.. is it any good?
