Here's what I submitted to that lyrics contest. I've never thought of this particular piece as rap lyrics. I feel it's poetry. I'll let you guys judge that.

Split Decision


People seem to be looking for a handout
Pawning their lives, recession's the standout
Yet, the overall means to survival is a brain
a little common sense to maintain equality
We're way beyond the age of reason
Beyond cats like Dionysus and Apollo
all people need is a little solidarity
You suspect me of treason,
but it's not my crisis, I won't follow
gutter mentality is setting the bar low
that's what you see when they wallow
don't shed tears for the wicked.
It's best you swallow your fears
Be a real man, tho. they wanna kick it
no constraints of age, no years
the man they seek when they broke their gears
Watch how they seek your advice
Loyally thunderstruck, they'll pay the price
On the day you spend, make sure that check clears
But you better not turn greedy
Don't you dare act shady man, you shouldn't be seedy
feeding their hearts is a gift
You need to recognize if you abuse their trust
you've become less and no longer equal
there's no loyalty when you bunk with lust
Relationships sour and they split
no more level and there won't be a sequel
you chose to reside in a cradle of filth

I do. I have more than 150 poems I've written. Started back when I was like 13.

I can give a shit less what people on here think is "soft". Yea I used to write poetry. When I was little it was about, basically fuck the world. I hated everything when I was little. Then I got older and it was about partying and my female. Then I aged a little more and it was more about fuck the government, and stating facts of shit that they covered up, and about how fucked religion is.
Plus other shit that was going on @ the time. but I havnt wrote for a few years. I was wanted to get back into it but had no inspiration.
