yeah but back in the days of 1980's battle rap niggas was gettin fucked up over it too

countless people from both sides of queens and bronx were fucked up over krs-ones 'south bronx'

if you ever wanna piss someone off from queens, say bronx keeps on takin it queens keeps on fakin it

i think even dj red alerts goofy looking ass was beat up over just being the dj on the song and all he did was go 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' on the track
Ok yea that "Bridge Is Over" shit i feel you. I guess rap music is just too personal. Cats just cant battle without taking it a step further.

some people just cant compete without taking shit personal. im sure you realize that if you play basketball

its kinda how the new thing for a second was punching rappers that are freestyling mid freestyle

and krs is on that stop the violence shit but he almost fought davey d physically(i think it was davey d, someone from oakland..) at a debate about hip hop and had to be removed lol so its like damn the self appointed ruler of hip hop cant even keep his temper level down sometimes

You right bruh I been in hella fights over basketball, niggas being sore losers and shit. But these rappers need to realize that rap is a business. You in the game to make money, and a little beef aint worth ppl's life. Money first, pride second. When I'm playing basketball it's about me trying to be the best. Pride first. I aint playing for money, so if a nigga disrespect me my pride aint gon let me back down. These rappers cant let stupid shit fuck up they're paper chase.

i agree. i think the thing is its really hard to make the transition between the streets and business. sometimes it literally happens over night and the artist is just standing there watching things move incredibly fast...few years ago 50 cent had to remind people like look 3 years ago i was selling crack...and thats why labels have such hard time with rappers because theyre constantly doing stupid shit they did before the deal. most rappers make terrible businessmen and cant even be on time to a meeting much less handle their temper

its like when that nigga kanye flipped out and broke the dudes camera...he forgot he was supposed to play the game...its liek if you beat up every cameraman that fucked with you, youd have hella lawsuits...the cameraman knows that shit...its bait....just like diss rap is...

i agree with diss rap when theres a legitimate beef between two people...its corny when dude over here says 'hehe let me say this and piss him off'

What makes you say Game has niggas ready to die for him? Because he signing their checks? Black Wall Street aint no gang it's a record lable. Are niggas signed to this lable really ready to die for a nigga that probably aint ready to die for them? I think not. There needs to be a seperation between rap and real life. BWS aint a gang it's a record lable. When niggas start treating lables like gangs that's when they get hurt. (Eg. Death Row Records).
Rappers will always have hitters on their team, signed or not. It's not necessarily that the label is a gang, but the label might have a team of cats that bang blocks. Fact of the matter is, street cats will roll with their men...and with them being men, there's nothing you can tell them when it comes down to showing you that they are your men...feel me? As long as there are rappers, there will be dudes from the block ready to do whatever it takes for their dude. Even if you tell them to calm down and ignore shit, they might go mop dude up anyway. It's called loyalty, and cats will do anything to show you that they are loyal to you...especially if you're in a position with money.

I say if you're gonna dis somebody, you better be ready to deal with the repercussions. Unless both parties are on some hip-hop shit like Jay-Z and Nas, no dis is a good idea. Out here on the West, anything is grounds for real beef because some cats have an image to uphold. If somebody dissed me on a record, I'd hit 'em back on a record and leave it there...but that's just me.
