JUST WONDERIN CUZ I SAW A USB PORT ON THE BACK OF THE DIRECTV AND WAS WONDERIN WHATS IT FOR CAN I CONNECT MY IPOD ON THERE AND GET SHOWS LIKE THAT OR DOES IT CONNECT ON THE COMPUTER HIT ME UP WIT THE ANSWERS

They are going to be disabled so you can't do anything with them.

The usb is not going to work for anything you hook up to it. Direct Tv disables them.

No, I've looked it up on google. I've stumbled across it many times when looking up the usb on my comcast box.

The USB ports are there for future enhancements, possibly to network all the receivers in your house together. So say you had a PVR and 3 normal receivers, the PVR could act like a server and the other receivers could play recordings off the PVR.
