Although, from an artistic perspective an somewhat on the topic...
How do all these people maintain their integrity? I mean, I might be naive/too old school... but fuck... to me it's like, you have a guest on your album... that should mean that the motherfuckers did it cuz they dig the shit you 're doin...
It's hard for me to understand cuz that's the way I think, but how can you live with yourself artisctically when you know all these "names" are on your record just because you paid them a good amount of money. beats me....
to me itwould be like " yeah, i got this project, have a listen to it and if you feel it, maybe throw a verse on there, but if not... too bad"

there's too many people tryin to bump up their names with features....

but seriously there are too many collabs these days in my opinion. I guess it's good for Tech (the money, whereas people might have different views on the resulting exposure/publicity)

I think there are a couple of awesome examples of what collabs should be on Everready. Like the one with Lynch, I mean you can't deny that there might be some economic benefits, but most of all it seems like the track has two rappers with mutual respect for each other's art collabin on there. instead of, "oh yeah i gave tech(or whoever) some money and they spit a verse in my shitty home studio on a karaoke machine. "

STILL, IF HE DOESN'T MAKE HIS LIVING BEING A RAPPER, HE IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL. JUST BECAUSE I PLAY IN POKER TOURNAMENTS WITH PROS DOESN'T MAKE ME A PRO, IT JUST MEANS I PLAY WITH SOME. I PUT MONEY IN, SOMETIMES I CASH. I AM SURE HE GETS PAID SOMETIMES TO DO WHAT HE DOES, BUT THERE IS NO DEMAND FOR KILLA C.

i got asked if i was a crypt the other day by a bunch of ppl wearin red lol. i was wearin blue girbauds and a blue t and they all approached me. i said nah and they just walked away so they porlly werent as affiliated as i thought lol
