I don't know how he is ''overhyped''...and who said he was the second coming of Jordan blah blah blah etc?

I've read a couple different times where Czar has said there will never be another MJ, and he's just hyped about this kid.

Derrick Rose is a special player, and if you can't see that, for whatever reason, that's your loss. I don't think he'll be Jordan or Magic or Bird...but he'll be a very good player for a very long time.

Fuckin right I can. Just like ya'll think Derrick Rose is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain's dick- I think he's over rated and gets too much hype for the 20 or so games he's played.

How do u translate someone sayin Rose is a beast into he is the next Jordan?? And u can think he is overhyped but u are in the minority. Its good though well see what kind of career he has!! Got Em!!

No one said you COULDNT, but what are going off to say that this kid is overhyped? He has put this team on his BACK in a number of games this year. He has been the leading scorer in 7 of the 18 games played Thats about 40% as a ROOKIE. He is averaging 19 PTS (2nd among rookies) and 6 AST (1st among all rookies). He has a 2/1 AST/TO ratio. What else do you want from a 19 year old?



Didnt people say the same about Wade? This kid plays the exact same type of game as Wade does...and Wade turned out OK if you ask me.

All im sayin is, you bash this kid, but there is NO reason to. His stats prove that he is a WORTHY player and will most likely win the ROY depending on how the Bulls do this year. If you ever watch him play, you would BELEIVE the hype...he is THAT good.

But I mean, what's "too much hype" though? He's the #1 overall pick. A certain level of play is expected out of the #1 pick.

He's still a rookie though, so a lot of how he's viewed is relative to that fact. But to excede the expectations of a #1 overall pick PG 25% into the season is worth talking about, imo. Sometimes things just work. Sometimes they don't (Darko). That's not to say Rose can't start sucking in 15 games, but as of right now, he's playing BETTER than a lot of veterans.

Ay man let dude think otherwise!! Like I said folks that really know hoop can see the greatness in this kid!! He has it but he still needs to develop but he has it in him and u can see it!! Got Em!!!
