^^He still fared well against them and although the fights were close I thought he should of got the 'W' in Mosley 2 and he almost had Quartey KO'd in the 12th. I think a fight with Mayweather will be closer than most think. If Judah can win 4 rounds against Floyd I believe Oscar can at LEAST match that. Another thing is, if Chop Chop can stagger and hurt Floyd so can DLH.

LMAO at prince naseem!!! Damn, did anyone see his last fight (i think it was his last) where he came out on some sphere type bullshit and was flying above the croud?? lmao, some foo threw a beer and hit him in the chest while he was flying on his magic carpet sphere.

I got that shit on DVD.

This guy had the wackiest ring entrances of all time, so fucking cocky. And to top it all off he was one of the most uncordinated boxers I've ever seen.

oscar made sum serious bank from the fight.............Oscar De La Hoya's fight with Ricardo Mayorga on Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, televised by HBO Pay Per View, generated 865,000 buys and $43.8 million in revenue, HBO said.

A pay-per-view fight has not done as well since De La Hoya last fought 20 months ago. His September 2004 bout with Bernard Hopkins generated 1 million buys and $56 million.

De La Hoya, 33, has been a participant in the top five most-viewed non-heavyweight pay-per-view fights. The record is 1.4 million buys for De La Hoya-Felix Trinidad in September 1999. No. 2 is the September 2003 rematch with Shane Mosley with 950,000 buys. Next is the 935,000 buys for the Fernando Vargas fight in September 2002.

De La Hoya, who was guaranteed $8 million for the fight, received a percentage of the buys over 600,000, which brought his share of the purse to more than $20 million, sources said.

The Barrera fight was 5 years ago and why would I post bullshit? I got the pic off a boxing forum from a British poster and here's a Hungarian boxing site with the same pic.

Hamed going to jail...

Hamed Pleads Guilty to Driving Charge

SHEFFIELD, England - Former featherweight champion Naseem Hamed pleaded guilty Friday to dangerous driving in connection with an accident that left one man seriously injured.

The 31-year-old former IBF and WBO champ was arrested in May 2005 after his car was involved in a collision with two other vehicles.

A man driving in another car was airlifted to a hospital with two broken arms and a broken leg. A female passenger in the car was cut and bruised.

Hamed was released on bail following Friday's plea. Sentencing was set for May 12, and he could face jail time.

"Do not take bail as any indication that you will receive anything other than a custodial sentence," Judge Alan Goldsack said.

The flamboyant Hamed, once one of Britain's most celebrated athletes, last fought in May 2002 when he was booed out of the ring after a shaky decision over Spain's Manuel Calvo in London. He was beaten by Marco Antonio Barrera in Las Vegas four years ago, his first defeat in 37 fights.
