I agree he shouldnt be sent to prison, I agree it's art and not gang affiliated, I agree he actually has good work compared to alot of others
BUT.........
What if you were a trucking company owner and he hit your whole fleet?
What if you own a few business in a small strip and he hit the places up?
It's not cheap to keep having to cover up and cover up and cover up.
So again no jail or prison but he should have to pay some restitution to those who have spent thousands cleaning up thier own companies because of this.
when i got caught they made me work at precita eyes (a art/renovation project in the mission that may or may not still be there) and terach kids art, hella community service (they signed off the paper, i didnt do 1 day of work) and they reduced my fines because i made up a intricate plot about being homeless.
id say i got off hella easy, although having that shit on your record for 7 years looks bad...some peopel hate grafitti..especially businesses (where youre trying to work, ironically.)
i say if you wanna go hard in graf do it at the ages of 15-25 and then somehow try to get paper off of it, responsibilities are a bitch, going to jail over graf is wack..i mean you might as well have broke in freight trains or robbed houses for the time they give you.
but yeah people dont realize that the shit is illegal as fuck.....you cant be on videos or have pictures of yourself..you really shouldnt even have pictures of your own work in your own house...i know a few people who have got raided and they use all that shit as evidence, lil blackbooks, markers anything related.
but its still kinda fuck the police cuz the beef on the streets eclipses the police....
honestly when you get big like him? this is what you do.
change names, change styles.
cuz the cops will actually look for your shit, take pictures, and estimate damage.... if you x that by a couple different cities its all bad
some writers are hella game goofy (not him) like, go out writing without gloves on.
