This may have been mentioned already, but I have never seen a movie that was more fucked up, and scarier than Exorcist 2....

I love horror movies and shit but damn... I almost wanted to leave in the middle of the fuckin' thing because I thought I might have a heart attack.

Maybe it was because I was hungover.

Can't believe nobody mentioned Donnie Darko. This is one disturbing ass movie, cleverly done tho.

i agree it made no sense & was not that good.i have that movie but i dont even watch it.

People have mentioned some good ones so far. As for what hasn't been mentioned yet...

"I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE" (1980)--Siskel and Ebert condemned this, saying it "made men want to rape women" or something...As a result, the video rentals soared back in the '80s and (early) '90s. Basically, an NYC woman writer gets an offer to write a novel, and she rents a cottage in rural Connecticut for the summer--she thinks it'll be more "peaceful" than working in NYC (uh huh. LOL)! She gets discovered and later raped THREE TIMES by the same group of hicks--an ex-Marine turned gas pumper, a greasy blonde-haired harmonica player, his balding, black-haired friend and a mentally retarded (you heard me) Woody Allen-lookalike who delivers groceries! She eventually gets back at and kills all four men (one at a time).

Anyway, the rape scenes take up about twenty-to-twenty-five minutes of the film (or at least that's how it seemed) and the camera work won't let you "escape", which makes it all the more disturbing. The action itself is also slow as fuck (bordering on boring at times), and there's almost no background music. Opinions differ among folks I've talked to--some found it disturbing, but others I know thought it was funny (or maybe they were just putting up a front).
I think it just came out on DVD last year.

^^ You talking about rape made me remember the most fucked up movie I ever saw... Terror Firmer, its a Troma movie so you know theres a shitload of blood, but it is so fucked up. Ron Jeremy eating dicks pushed it over the edge lol


Another good, gory movie is Dead Alive/Braindead. Peter Jackson (LOTR) directed it, its a badass zombie movie that probably has the most blood of any movie ever made.

And another great movie is "Chopper" Its about this guy that lived in Australia and was the most infamous criminal in the country. He was so fuckin savage

I just saw a crazy ass movie... HERO. Not that it was bloody, gory, or twisted, but the fight scenes were the craziest shit Ive ever seen on film! God damn, Im still in awe. It was all so perfect, it was like poetry... you guys gotta peep this shit.

Cube is sort of a crazy movie. Cube 2- Hypercube isn't really any good though. It's a little bit funny.

I saw Cube 1, never even knew there was Cube 2. The movie was dope, could have been a lil better but still a nice movie.

^^^ Hell yeah, that scene is savage where he shoots the heroin into his jugular vein while his baby looks on... Ben Stiller played a good junkie in that flik, suprised me with such a serious role.
