Cost to candy paint a car

i been paintin cars for over 10 yrs and i be sprayin kandy paint. i do this for a living so i'm a tell you this. you gonna be spending some money for a real kandy paint job. most spots will charge you 4 g'z and up for a paint job. i usually hook it up and i spray em starting at 2,000. that's just for the kandy paint job. all bodywork and extra prep is gonna be extra. most people bring their old school rides to us and we gotta do all the bodywork and primer the whole ride...then block it out and prime again..then block it out. then paint and color sand the clear and buff it to a glass finish. these type of jobs run about 4 to 5 grand. but if you have a ride and don't want no bodywork then you lookin at $2,000 for a sick kandy paint job. but you gotta cover it and take real good care of that paint job cause kandies be fading after a few years if you leave em in the sun without regular waxing....

2-3 g's if u kinda got hook-up...15 huned if you really got hook up...i no sombody that do chameleon paint for 1500

Thats what I had done to my 69 Chevelle and it cost me $4500. You might think your body is nice but if your paying 2 G's you might as well have them do the body work so you got a smooth ride with no waves and dents.
