Cop murders a black woman in her own home through the window because they were "investigating" her door being open. Cops never announced themselves and fired a shot as soon as they saw somebody through the window. Turns out she was playing video games with her nephew.

Piece of shit cops then decided to add "we found a gun her in house" to their press release to try and sway public opinion, even though the gun is completely irrelevant to the situation as she wasn't holding a gun and the gun was found in another part of the house.

Every press release and interview the department also keeps regurgitating that the officer "perceived a threat".

Apparently standing in your bedroom completely oblivious to anything and not even being aware people are outside in your back yard is "threatening".

The only reason the cops were there was to do a welfare check because a neighbor saw her door open at 2am and wanted to make sure she was ok. They called a -non emergency- number. Cop even walked up to her front door and and saw her screen door was shut. Instead of knocking he decided to go in to her dark backyard.

Cops released an edited version of the body cam footage showing only the shooting and of course they added the gun they found, even though, once again, it's not relevant to the shooting.

This woman was 28 years old, worked at a University, and was a pre-med student who was playing video games with her 8 year old nephew. This is who is "threatening" to cops.
The cop was "dishonorable discharged" from the police force this morning and then charged with murder. Hopefully dude gets that good ol Texas death penalty.

What's fucked up though is the bitch ass cop hired a lawyer and that lawyer is being paid for by the state's largest police union. These piece of shit cops will stick together no matter what.

Grand jury indicted the pig for murder. Hopefully they can get a conviction.

Dipshit didn't realize McDonalds has security cameras and the McDonalds found that nobody in the store did anything to his cup before handing it to him. Now the retard cop got fired from his job for trying to get some fake social media sympathy.

BALTIMORE —
A former Baltimore police detective is heading to federal prison for lying about his role in planting a gun during a 2014 arrest.

Carmine Vignola appeared late Thursday afternoon in federal court, where he was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison.

This is another case in which a Baltimore police officer is connected to the crimes of Gun Trace Task Force members.

Vignola admitted he lied before a federal grand jury about where he got a BB gun that was planted at the scene of an arrest to help former GTTF Sgt. Wayne Jenkins justify hitting the arrestee with his car.

Prosecutors sought more than an 18-month sentence, stressing a message had to be sent about officers who lie to the grand jury and before judges.

"Prosecuting criminals who work in police agencies is essential both to protect our communities and to support the many honorable officers whose reputations they unfairly tarnish," U.S. Attorney Robert Hur said in a statement.

In imposing her sentence, the judge said she was taking into consideration Vignola's family circumstances, but she did not elaborate.

Vignola apologized in court and said he accepted responsibility.

Vignola joined the Baltimore Police Department as an officer in September 2007, and was promoted to detective in March 2014. He resigned from the BPD in September 2019.

During the course of the sentencing hearing, prosecutors said 12 officers have been convicted in the GTTF case, a 13th officer has been charged and that they are not finished. It's a clear indication that the GTTF and police corruption case is not finished, but no further detail was provided.

"Suicide"

https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/priso...ions-arizona-facility-found/story?id=69530523

Prison whistleblower who exposed unsafe conditions in Arizona facility found dead
Police in Arizona said her death is being treated as a suicide.

An Arizona correctional sergeant who blew the whistle on corruption and unsafe conditions inside a jail facility was found dead in an apparent suicide, officials confirmed to ABC News.
Gabriela Contreras risked her position at the former Lewis Corrections Department in Buckeye last April when she leaked surveillance videos that revealed multiple jail units had cell doors that did not lock properly.
Contreras initially turned over the videos and altered documentation regarding the broken locks anonymously, but came forward in an exclusive interview with ABC15 a month later.

The whistleblower was suspended for a week when she was caught downloading the videos.
"I had enough," Contreras said during the May 2019 interview when asked why she downloaded and leaked the footage. "Because it’s a crime, what they were doing: allowing this to happen, allowing staff to get hurt, and not doing anything about it."

Contreras also wrote to Gov. Doug Ducey on May 15, 2019 after his office launched an investigation. The jail staffers were asked by the governor's office to make comprehensive reports about each broken cell door, but were forced to make modifications to those documents by their superior.
"The deputy warden was outraged that we reported all of the deficiencies we found," Contreras wrote. "He told us that we were only to count the cell doors that opened on their own when the padlock was removed -- and that we should not have included cell doors that opened with a slight juggle or push or be caused to register an Unauthorized Access alert on the computer on this report."
Contreras warned the governor that the deputy warden was trying to minimize or "present his office with false and/or misleading information and falsifying public records," she wrote.
Because of Contreras' fight, over 1,000 cell doors were repaired and replaced, the prison took on new leadership and was renamed the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry.
During the late evening of March 8, Goodyear Police Department responded to a "domestic disturbance" call at Contreras' home. When the officers entered her residence, Contreras was in her bedroom "unresponsive, with an apparent self-inflicted gun-shot wound," according to a spokeswoman with the police department.
Despite "lifesaving measures" taken, Contreras was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The Goodyear Police Department considers this a suicide and next of kin has been notified," the spokeswoman said.
The Maricopa County's Medical Examiner's office ruled Contreras' manner of death as a suicide caused by a "gunshot wound of head," according to online records.

"Our beloved friend Gabriela Contreras was taken too soon ... a loving and caring mother, daughter, and friend. A passionate person who was not afraid to stand for what she believed in," wrote a family friend on an online funeral fundraiser page.
Attempts to reach the family of Contreras were not successful on Wednesday.

According to police, on June 5, 2019 at 8:43 p.m., Elk Grove officers were reportedly called to an alleged robbery and assault in progress at a Burlington Coat Factory. When officers arrived, they found a half-naked Mendoza walking from the building.

As the video shows, Jaun is walking out of the building when police tell him to get on the ground and show his hands. Juan immediately complies and does exactly that.

For an unknown reason, Schmidt is seen from multiple angles running up to Mendoza and stomping the shirtless man’s head into the pavement. His body appears to go limp after the initial stomp but Schmidt keeps kicking him about the body, yelling at him to put his hands behind his back.

Schmidt later mutes his camera microphone for 13 seconds as he continues to talk to other officers at the scene.

“We have to evaluate what was the level of resistance that called for the level of force, and in this case, those didn’t balance,” Albright said and reported the kick was not within department policy.

Indeed, the kick left Mendoza in serious condition.

Mendoza was hospitalized after the incident with a life-threatening brain injury, according to his attorney Mark Merin.

“The guy was defenseless on the ground, to come and just bang him in the head with a boot? I mean that’s just absolutely unjustified,” Merin said.

Although they did not charge him, after the 9-month long investigation, Schmidt was finally fired. In a move to avoid any accountability for not stopping his officer from stomping a compliant man, Schmidt’s supervisor resigned after Schmidt was fired.

Want a free at-home workout? Just let the FBI read your phone

The FBI’s free fitness app sure wants a lot of your personal information.

By Sam Eggleston Mar 24, 2020, 3:13pm
The Federal Bureau of Investigations is worried about you being stuck at home. So much so that it wants to help you with your daily physical fitness.

To that end, they’ve developed an app called the FBI Physical Fitness Test app. It is designed to show you how to properly do exercises such as pushups and situps.

The FBI website says this app will help you “train like an agent,” as well as go through the full FBI Physical Fitness Test with the latest FBI scoring system.

Nifty.

So let’s just go to the app store (Apple here and Google here), click download and then go ahead and approve these permissions ...

Oh. That’s quite a list to approve. Let’s see here, clearly the FBI, in order to help you do basic physical fitness, needs permission to access your location, and obviously your photos, media and files. And storage. And ...

Wait. Hold on. Let’s take a slightly closer look.

20.7K people are talking about this

The FBI needs to know your approximate and precise location to use alongside your device’s accelerometer for “a more realistic PFT experience.” Oh, and for your photos, media and files? The Feds just want to be able to read the contents, and, you know, modify or delete those contents.

The app also has an “other” category in which your friendly neighborhood special agent says they will be able to receive data from the internet, view all of your network connections, have full network access, control the vibration capabilities of your device, prevent your device from sleeping, and read any Google service configurations you may have.

There’s also a disclaimer at the bottom in fine print that says, “Updates to FBI FitTest may automatically add additional capabilities within each group.”

Personal trainers don’t typically know so much about their clients, but I guess the Federal Bureau of Investigations has a better idea of what we need to work out. Why aren’t these so-called trainers trying to get access to your device and all of your personal information and location? Psh.
