Cool edit Pro question

im mixing down a large file. maybe 3 hours sometimes more, anyone know how too make it so u can mixdown more???? it says it cant mixdown more then 4GB or something.


I can maxx mixdown 2 hours.

Im not sure if that is a setting or just a limit of the program. But on the real you should upgrade to Adobe Audition 1.5 it's the same as Cool Edit Pro with a lot of new features. If you get Audition you can just load your Cool Edit session into it and see if it works. BTW what are you mixing down in Cool Edit that is over 3 hours? lol

Or you could also just mix down like half of it first and then the other half and then combine them.

There's not much you can do since that's an operating system limitation.

The only options are splitting the file, as already suggested, or saving to a format that uses less disk space.
