Rusty or not, experience will help you. Keep posting shit and talking about it. Even if the topics aren't 100% the best shit, debating and discussing will still help you and it keeps the forum going. New perspectives or voices are always a good thing, cause it's usually the same people saying the same shit in here.

While I agree, there is not a two party system. If you believe that, go back to wikipedia. There are multiple parties (independent, green, communist, socialist, etc etc etc). I do agree though that the Gov't/America wants people to think there are two parties because those two parties are the same they just don't say it.

I said somethin yesterday that some of my friends thought was a good idea. Now if/WHEN we have to form a revolution, since the gov't is going to take control, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when...And their little expansion world-wide to "get rid of al-Queda" is just another way to fuck everyone. But seriously, there's a SHIT load of people in our country that do NOT support the gov't, but most of these people are fighting each other. My main idea was gang members, but shit, there's a ton of them and if they all unified to fight against the one thing that really is trying to oppress them along with anyone and everyone else who hates the gov't, something would actually get done.

You got liberals tryin to get rid of guns, which is stupid. The reason we have the right to bear arms is to take over if we have to incase the gov't took too much power. Hense, what is going on RIGHT NOW and has been going on for a long ass time. Democrats and republicans are working together on this, to fuck the American people into doing what they want them to. I dunno about any of you, but I sure as fuck don't wanna not be allowed to have a fucking gun if the military has them. They ain't comin into my place taking any of my shit or any bullshit like that.

Our country IS fucked. We ARE doomed. There is NO turning back and the system will not be fixed. The gov't will tell the people it's fixed, but it won't be. That's just their way of shutting people up so that the gov't can go about their corrupt business as usual.

By the way, the more people feed into "race" as a real thing, the more it becomes a real thing. It's a social contruct, I will say it every time this shit is brought up. Race is NOT real. Anyone who believes it is, is only fuckin themself by stigmatizing themselves and everyone else in the world.
What you said at the end, about race, is 100% correct. People use race to stigmatize others, and in doing so, stigmatize themeselves. The problem is, we have grown up stigmatizing each other so much, that yes, race and racism is a real thing. I mean look at all the threads on this site that say white boy this, or asian that, and what they can't do that blacks and hispanics can do, simply because of their race. So just like you said "the more people feed into "race" as a real thing, the more it becomes a real thing" well enought people have and do feed into it, for it is a real thing, in my opinion.

It's a real thing to people that don't know shit about shit. It's just a way to label people so that we can have preformed ideas about each group so that we don't have to actually get to know anyone or talk to them, we just "know" they are "bad" because they are "black" or "brown" or whatever the fuck.

If people didn't feed into the bullshit we'd all be better off. Nobody knows how to let go anymore and just live. They're caught up in the bullshit that we call "life" when it's really not living, it's just biding your time until you die.

The world would be better off if everyone was blind. The funny thing is, the same people that talk about not judging (in general) are the ones that do the most of it. For the most part, people who talk the talk, do not walk the walk, nor do they intend to, they just want it to look like they're not hypocritical fuck bags.

^^^its cuz as much as it would be ideal, people dont WANT change. they love the differences that stereotypes create, so that they feel theyre better than them and different. i would say the majority of white people in the US dont really want change in terms of eliminating racism, because they dont truly see these people as "equal" to them anyway.

Well I'm glad I'm not the typical stupid white mother fucker. Change is the only thing that's going to make shit better. It just HAS to be legitimate change, not some bullshit like the US gov't has been doing since the country was created.

Hopefully the situation with race and racism gets better, but as they say, 'Rome wasnt built in a day'. And, overall, race relations seems to be on teh up and up, but then situations like Katrina, and the Duke situation, reiterate how much hostility there is between races, and the us against them mentality rears it's ugly head.

^^I agree with you. I honestly don't think it's every going to change. For obvious reasons, individuals will always hold their own view points and society can't stop that. People need to be allowed to feel how they feel, but people also need to be educated on more subjects, one of them being sociology. This country thrives on what it supposedly is against and it's pathetic. One of my professors said the other day, "we can't just go back and start over." And what I wanted to say was, "why the fuck not?" I do see the reasons for why he said what he did, but from my point of view-the country was started by people who wanted to start over. If there were enough people to start a revolution or whatever, it wouldn't be that hard. People just need to get over the physical appearance and realize that it's a person's actions that tell you who they are not where they come from or what they look like. If all the gang members in the US united into one big ass gang, best believe the gov't would have a fucking problem on it's hands-and they would not just be able to "get rid of it" or brush it under the rug like they do with hella other shit.

@Sixxness

Just curious....do you EVER talk about ANY government other than the Federal Gov't? The STATE Gov't, perchance? LOCAL government? Can you name at least 3 people on your city council? Your major? 5 Washington State Representatives or Senators?

The Federal Gov't is only the ICING on the cake, and as you know, people don't (and WOULDN'T) buy an All-Icing cake. Let's get this thing whittled-down here.

I'm not registered to vote in Kittitas County, but yeah....Glenn Anderson, Jay Rodne (both King County), Janea Holmquist, Bill Hinkle (both Kittitas County), and how about Tracey Eide (Majority Floor Leader). But no, I usually don't talk about state government. I'll have to read more about it though cause I haven't read as much about state as I have federal.

As you've said, the president doesn't have any real power anyway.

The real question is this: do you want that butt-ugly bush-pig being the face of America?

I am serious. There is some borderline racist shit being said here, and I am not going to tolerate it. A scorched earth policy is not beyond me.

It must be remembered that this is a forum TEEMING with Insecure Middle-Class White Rebels, so if you want to play the race card...surely, the race card WILL BE PLAYED.

I'm a minority from a welfare background going to university.....give ME your best shot. I could care less. Others though...should be VERY WORRIED.

I am a minority as well, and I am getting ready to attend a university. I actually like to hear other peoples thoughts on race, whether they be ignorant or not. We all have ideas on how important race is, and it really is up to the individual, as Sixxness eluded to.

For me, race plays a huge part in my life, because my life is filled with three different races of people(including my own race), that i have to interact with on a daily basis (i think the cultural difference is actually the bigges factor tho). Anyways, hope i didnt offend anyone, as i sometimes will play devils advocate.

There is a very big difference between calling someone a crack whore or a pig, rather than saying they are overzealous or something similar.

The one is a malicious insult meant to demean and REMOVE discussion; the other is clearly meant to intrigue and PROMOTE discussion.

I also enjoy the talks that go on here. But there are some things that I am not willing to sit back and take.

Ya i feel you, and understand where you are coming from. I have noticed a big jump in Asian, stereotypical, comments on this board, more recently. And, me, being of mixed Asian heritage (but clearly labeled as Asian to most of the people I meet), it does get under my skin, a little bit, that people can make such ignorant blanket statements about a large group of people so easily. But, what can I do about it? I can either, ignore it, and move on, or get angry, and get into a net war of words, with someone, simply to have others either, agree with me, and jump on my side, or disagree, and talk shit about me.

Which is why this board is so enjoyable. There is already so much material--being, this forum is largely composed of Middle-Class White Rebel Closet Racists that think they know how Minorities should act and be more than Minorities themselves know--that it is easy to sling mud without getting so much as a scratch on you.

I am making the arguments of why Condi would make a good President, and others have nothing but insults and ignorant comments. So, fine. We will do that until they shut their woman-like mouths and grow up.

Typical ignorant ass comment I seen on the open forum, that i was talking about:

"not tryin to sound like a racist but uh.. why the fuck is that asian kids are addictied to video games? lol me and my homie were walkin thru frys and we saw a line of asian kids waitin to use the DDR pad, shit had me rollin. but why is it that asian folks are hella addicted to gaming?"

Now how the hell can people, with any sense at all, use a sample of maybe, up to, 10 Asian kids in an arcade, waiting in like to play a video game, and make a blanket, generalized, statement about Asians? It's not necessarily out and out racism, per sey. Although, i would really have to question the original thread poster's motives in posting it, in the first place. The funniest part, to me, about the thing is he says "not trying to sound racists or anything", knowing damn well he is posting the thread so that other people, who read it, can join in with their "I see and know a lot of Asian's playing video games' comments. Which, in turn, will boost his low self esteem, and proabably his inner hatred he has for asians (and possibly all minorities) because others agree with him. Ok maybe I took it a step to far, lol.
