Continuation of college thread

Im in a situation right now and its stressing me the f uck out.

*Think, If you were to choose to try and reach your dream full time(actor, producer, rapper, dancer ect.) and put college aside for a little while(maybe semester or two)...*

-you are already talking to some big names and is in the process of maybe making something happen.
-you have major talent and you know you will someday get the spotlight.
-seeing all your friends leave to college.
-finished aa degree in community college and is about to transfer to state college.

or

*Finish college and have a piece of mind that you have a degree you can use for life?*

-never would know if you could of made it or not.
-Basically wasted you talent.
-Have a nice career and nice job.

what would you do?

I have no fucking clue what you're trying to get across but you're an idiot if you're seriously thinking of leaving college because you actually think you're skilled enough to make it as a rapper, dancer, producer, actor.

if you got real connections, i dont see too much harm in takin some time off of school to pursue your real passion...just make sure you'll be able to go back and support yourself if things don't work out (think about financial issues)....the only reason im in a rush to get school done is cuz im probably going to be in school 5 more years after undergrad

You already know the answer. No one has give you any feedback. Most of the time when people ask for an opinion it's because they are going against their intuition.

like Defy say..do both...

stay in college and follow your dream as well...

just in case you never achieve your dream..you can always have your degree as a back up...

Just because you spend a few years in college getting a degree that will last you the rest of your life and can't dissapear, doesn't mean that you won't have a chance to pursue whatever you're "dream" was. A degree is much more reliable than talent.

yea, actually...i think most colleges will allow you to take less than the required credits if you can provide reason...so, doing both might be the best idea

Go to college!!!!! While there take some drama classes to see if you really got it...

If you really wanna make it as an actor...you'd be surprised at how many actor's are actually trained actors...If will sharpen your skills...

If you take any time off...there is a 75% chance you won't go back...
