#8 Kentucky at #11 South Carolina

Kentucky is on of the surprise teams this year, and they have to keep it going against a scrappy SC team in order to keep the edge in the SEC East. Andre Woodson is also the front runner as a Heisman candidate.

#5 Wisconsin at Illinois

Wait a minute, the Illini in a GAME OF THE WEEK? Guess what, Illinois is 4-1 and Wisconsin has looked less than average on the road, almost losing to Iowa...and UNLV. They may not escape Champaign with a win, as Illinois is no longer the pushover they once were.

Bowling Green at #7 Boston College

The only reason this game s in here is because BC seems to play to their competition, and last week that was DOWN to a DIV1-AA Umass team. Matt Ryan is also a Heisman candidate and will have to get a MAC leading BGS passing attack.

Kansas at #24 Kansas State

An instate rivalry game and a crucial in conference game. KU has destroyed its first 4 competitors, but none have really been a testable opponent. KSU comes off one of its biggest wins in some years, crushing Texas by 20 in Texas.

Minnesota at Indiana

Wait, why is this game in here? Like Illinois, Indiana is off to a great start of 4-1 and needs to knock off less-than-average Minnesota to stay in the race for the Big 10 title.

#10 Oklahoma at #19 Texas

I shouldn’t have to explain to any CFB fan why this game is in here. The Red River shoot-out is one of the greatest rivalry games in football, even though both teams lost last week in what would have been a battle of the unbeatens. None the less, each squad still has a shot at the Big 12 South and needs to win this game if they plan on vying for a slot in the Big 12 CG.

#15 Virginia Tech at #22 Clemson

VT has looked anything but impressive in its first 4 games, with the offense looking extremely sluggish. Clemson scored 3 measly points last week against a stinger GT defense. Clemson has an RB tandem that can be lethal, and they will need to go up against another stingy defense.

#4 Ohio State at #23 Purdue

Purdue snuck into the top 25 last week and is also 5-0 along with OSU. OSU seems to get better every week, and this will be the second matchup of unbeatens this week; both games in the B10. The Big 10 title chances relies heavily on this game, as Wisconsin is also unbeaten, and MSU is a 1 loss team. Michigan is also unbeaten in Big-10 play.

#20 Cincinnati at #21 Rutgers

Cincy is another surprise team this year and this is a crucial Big East matchup as Rutgers fell to unranked Maryland last week. Cincy has a quick and rough defense built to stop the run, as Ray Rice will try and slice through it.

#25 Nebraska at #17 Missouri

Battle for position in the Big 12 North between these two teams. Nebraska has looked shaky at home, but seems more comfortable on the road. They will need everything to stop Chase Daniel, who is a Heisman hopeful.

GAME OF THE WEEK

#9 Florida at #1 LSU

Florida has everything to gain...and everything to lose against LSU this week. Falling to Auburn for the second year in a row, UF NEEDS to beat a very good LSU team in order to be on track for a NC again this year. LSU boasts one of the best defenses in the country and Tebow is going to have his hands FULL IN LSU.

They always "almost lose", yet the 13-game winning streak continues! They won't drop a game until Ohio State, if at all.

At the start of the season it looked like it would be Penn State and Michigan that were going to be the road blocks - not so much anymore.

I feel the same way. IMSU over UW was my upset special last week, and they almost pulled it off. I dont think Illinois can get it donw, but maybe Penn St can.

Go BIG 10!!!
The Big Ten is too crazy this year. Nobody is really looking good besides Ohio State.

Right now, I have them at the top of the conference by far, the rest of the teams have looked average to bad, well, the rest of the preseason contenders. Michigan State has surprised, but they haven't beaten a good team, yet, either.

As for the Michigan-Wisconsin matchup that'll happen later in the season, it won't be a walkover for Wisconsin, that's for sure. Wisconsin has never had an easy time beating Michigan, and has beaten them what, once in the last ten years?

People may look at the Northwestern score from last weekend and get the wrong idea. But with Chad Henne in the game Michigan outscored NW 28-0.

I got Kentucky moneyline under 57 points. They are now facing a real defense. I don't see Kentucy putting up 48 points in this game.

32-21 Kentucky
You fell for the Okie Doke.....For some reason the Pollsters jack off when you beat Arkansas, and jump you up 10 spots, like they did when Bama beat'em.Kentucky has beat NOBODY.

Exactly.

Andre Woodson, after seeing him playa whole game, is NOT that impressive. He makes intermediate throws, his arm isnt that great, and he makes POOR decisons (3 TO's). Maybe it was just SC's defense, or maybe the fact that Andre hasnt faced a decent D all year, but he should NOT be in the Heisman race and I dont feel he is good enough to play on Sundays.

However, i AM impressed with UK's running game. They have an array of backs, including that true freshman track star. Little lookd great and Dixon is a nice mix up back.

Kentucky will go 7-5 this year and no one will remember tham....again.

SC doesnt look all that impressive either. They will also go either 7-5/8-4 and will get knocked out of the top 10 VERY soon (after beating UK, they will be there next week).
