Georgia Tech at Boston College
GT struggled a bit with their new look option offense. BC showed great defense, but the offense was very vanilla with a new QB at the helm and little help in the backfield. Expect BC to open it up a bit more and domiunate GT's running game.
Miami (OH) at Michigan
Can Michigan lose 2 in a row to non-BCS schools? I dont think Miami has it in them, but...any given Saturday, right?
Cincinnati at No. 4 Oklahoma
The Bearcats are no slouch, as they had a great year last year, and only look to improve desipte losing their tenacious starting QB. Oklahoma will look to steam roll Cincy and get one game closer to a possible BCS NC game.
Oregon State at No. 19 Penn State
It aint the OSU of last year, but PSU is always a toss up in trhe later years of Paterno.
No. 8 West Virginia at East Carolina
Can ECU do it twice in a row? In their home opener, they will go for their second upset in a row. Pat White threw for 5 TD's last game, the most by him in his career. His new air attack combined with his legs could lead to a route if ECU doesnt bottle him up.
Minnesota at Bowling Green
BGST is going for the second "upset". Minnesota struggled last week against another MAC team, one that isnt as good as BGST...in their house.
No. 12 Texas Tech at Nevada
A high flying affair is waiting to errupt in this one. Harrell threw for ever 500 yards last week and looks for more this week.
Stanford at No. 15 Arizona State
All of a sudden, Stanford has some BALLS! After upsetting OSU last week, they are looking for bigger and better competition to eat up. ASU brings their high rank and experienced QB in Carpenter.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Miami (FL) at No. 5 Florida
Although Miami looked impressice last week, it was against Div 1AA competiton. This week, they wil have their hands full with Florida, a favorite for some to go to the NC. Miani has the younger talent, reminding us why they were such a threat in the 80's and 90's...they hope to bring that excitement back this year.
