people are saying hes a reach but coach heimerdinger and coach fisher are saying he could be the next westbrook if not better...i wont let this get my hopes up till i see some actual contact but everyone on the field is impressed by the fastest guy in a titans uniform....

ive been reading up on him more and more and dude put up HISTORCIAL numbers even though he was on a small school team...

vince young said that chris johnson would smoke him in the 40 "trotting and jogging"

this was a nice stiff arm he put on our saftey/nickle fuller...

hopefully this guy can add some explosion to our offense that it needs!! the only playmaker we got on our team is our qb and he dont got no help around him...hopefully chris johnson can change that

chris johnson and brian westbrook should not be in the same sentence, jeff fisher is on one for that. Ill hold off judgment untill chris actually plays

@mooreblock... What happened to all that Lendale White talk? I remember you saying Johnson wouldn't get more than 10 touches a game....

Fisher said he COULD be the next Westbrook. Hence the word COULD. I see Johnson getting as many carries as Lendale White in a committee backfield. He's a change of pace running back as opposed Twinkee White.

Keep in mind that the Titans are a rushing team.

he wont get many touches running the ball...he will be a slot WR on probally 25 percent of the passing plays (thats my assumption...maybe less...)

he will get no more then 35 carries the entire season unless something crazy happens (ethier an injury or hes just to get to get so few carrys...fisher dont play rookies like that)....fisher doesnt like putting rookies on the spot .....they have to fight for there reps just like lendale white did when he was arguebaly the best back in the field his rookie year...

after his first year he will get more carrys...

our 2nd round pick from last year CHRIS HENRY is our 2nd back

chris johnson will only be a situational player

i agree for the most part....he knows how to get it done when on paper we could be with some of the worst teams.....i dont agree with some of his phillosphys but he isnt the longest tenured coach in the nfl for no reason

35 touches this season?!?!?!? are you on one or what? hes a first round draft pick, the fast guy at the combine. U think hes gonna get 35 touches this season? wow.

wtf? why am i an idiot, because I dont agree with what fisher said? johnson hasnt even played a single down yet and hes already compairing him to westbrook?...anyone can shine in a mini camp/OTA ...theyre only practicing against practice teams and theyre not even in pads. Ill wait to hold off on what playing style johnson has once I see it. And im rooting for him this year, I wanna see what his speed brings to the table. Get off fishers nuts and chill out.

he said COULD be.....hes simply making a comparison in no way shape or from did he say "hes the next westbrook...mark my words" it was a simple comparison that ALL coaches make about players.....ESP if a reporter ASK them to compare em to somebody in the leauge.....

35 touches ON THE GROUND (book it....ive followed the titans for many many years....wayyyyyyyyyy more then you ever followed cowboys/raiders combined bruh...i know what im talking about)

unless he really shines or a significant injury happens..(which may not even change something with solid vets like alexander and kevin jones on the market still) he will get NO MORE then 40 rushes the ENTIRE season....he may get about that many passes.....100 touches of the BALL TOTAL (special teams included)

im on something called knowlege.....i know way more about my team then you know about yours trust that.....i know how fisher runs the program.....i know how bud adams likes the program to be ran

its not hard to fallow a team thats only been around for 10 years and still with the same coach, even stevie wonder can tell you how the titans play the game. I bet Johnson touches the ball 50+ times this year. Why would u not use the fast guy on your team? that doesnt make sense.

it doesnt matter if it makes sense to you or not......this isnt madden....like i said he will get his TOUCHES but not by lining up behind a fullback and running on critical downs......

not hard to follow a team for ten years? yeah for you it is.....hence your switching....
