I disagree. I didn't say make it mandatory to go to college. So if you took it for granted you jus wouldn't go period. And instead of goin to college to make money you would go there to actually learn things that interested you.

Cuz alot of people go to college, don't really know what they wanna do, and end up pickin a job that makes the most money. So you get bitter people who hate their jobs but won't quit cuz the money is good. Bitter bosses equal bitter employees. Everybody is jus fightin to get home cuz they hate where they work. And the harder they fight at work the better their homes are to get to. You see what I'm sayin?

If college was free you could always go back and change what you wanted to do. With stuff like good counselors and career people they could help you to pick a job you'd like doin based on your past experiences and their experiences in dealing with people.

Money is used to whip people into line. and instead of sharing knowledge and combining what we learn to advance we compete and sell bits and pieces of good ideas. It actually ends up slowin us down, puts us at eachother's throats, and makes a bunch of useless waste.

Did Bill Gates take his college for granted? But yet everyone who works for him needs a college degree. A man who makes that much money should share and do good things with it. And if you say well he came up with the idea, what about all the people who have expanded on that idea? Or all the people who get laid off to cut costs for ultimately one man?

He who has more money is the king. What kinda caveman bully bullshit is that way of thinkin?

How come a man who steals millions of dollars is a criminal but a man who makes millions off of stealing from others or not sharing my boss?

And why would I work for somebody who looks at me as an asset and not a livin human bein like themselves.

Sorry man I'm not really into the job that's why my performance is lacking. But I need money to go to school to learn somethin different so that's not really an option. So jus fire me and let me die as quick as possible from hunger and lack of shelter then to keep me on until you get the next strugglin, younger, more energetic, ignorant john/jane doe to take my place and end up in the same cycle all to make YOU rich. Cuz at least that would be humane and merciful.

Fuck money. Learn somethin and free yourself.

its also not Mandatory to finish highschool..

thats why we see the dropout rate so high.

I think there should be some sort of a system in place regarding income.

Basically if you do not have a "good" income then you get a discounted school rate....
they should also give kids that make decent grades a discount to school for atleast the first year. Especially if you can not get a scholarship or any other assistance for school.

I just think the "Free college" does not solve anything.

^ how happy are you with your life? Do you have any problems? Answer honestly.

Go ahead and tell me you have a "good" car, a "good" job, a "good" house, and a happy family and everyday you sit back and say "fuck the rest of the world cuz I'm content and satisfied and I never wanna leave this lil bubble of happiness."

And after you say that, or if you do, I wanna add in a billion dollars to your bank account.

You still happy in your lil bubble of contentness? You now have the option to go anywhere, buy anything, and you have all the time in the world cuz you don't have to "save up" for a vacation, or to put your kids in a better school, or whatever you wanna do.

Tell me the concept of money isn't holdin you back from what you wanna do? Tell me it isn't holdin us all back? Tell me it's not 99% of everybodies woes and sorrows?

Money is FREEDOM or ENSLAVEMENT in a world based on money. When we get rid of it we'll have time to think about doin better things. It will humble us. It will humble you.

Every empire has fallen. Every single one. Because their "greatness" was determined by their wealth and not by what they contributed to mankind. The only one that will never be destroyed is one where the concept of money is abolished. It won't be the only factor to why it will never be destroyed but it will definitely be a factor.

Why? Cuz nobody has ever tried it. There too busy makin money and survivin.

Wake up. It's how paradise is created here on earth.

Obviously if we kill the concept of money then college wouldbe free in monetary terms. Its very idealistic and thoughtful of you to despise money, but you are pointing your finger at an inanimate object where you should be poinitng it at the greed contained within humans, in all living things. Money is not evil; money is paper and coin. So lets assume we "kill" the concept of money, what do you propose in lieu of that? a hippie commune? I understand where you are coming from and what you are saying. Dont take offense, but I feel your views on money and "free education" are mildly immature (not you yourself, but those specific opinions, and you pointed this out when you said "I don't know all the answers but this is what I've figured out so far. A starting point to change the world as we know it". ) and havent been thought out to see the implications that your ideals would have on the world. Ideally yes, free education, eliminating greed and money, and candy coated rain drops are preferable but you are forgetting there is a difference between what you would like to see, and how it would actually be possible to implement.

Dont neglect to look at the value money has ie. exchaning your expertise (wokring) for money, and then exchangin your money for other peoples expertise (goods). This is something that frees us, we can focus on whatever we like or nothing at all, and we dont have to know how to do everything on an individual basis. Further, if someone ruley values education and wants to go to college, they will do what they can to get there. If someone says "i never went to colelge cause i couldnt afford it", they are simply saying they wanted other things, material things, more than they wanted to spend their money on higher education. The evil government is more than willing to subsidize and give grants to underrepresented groups who want to go to college. There is also fafsa. Anyone who wants to go to college can, and even if they cant because of their life decisions or whatever, library cards are pretty affordable last time i checked.
- I agree with this

- I think you are reaching too far. It would probably be easier for everyone to treat eachother with respect and kindness than to eliminate the use and importance of money. If money was wiped off the face of the earth the next hr, don't you think the world would go crazy? How do you expect people to live without the concept of money? Doing trades like back in the days? but even that people are more wealthier with what they posess when money wasnt created yet, but the concept was still there.

- as for schools being free...that's just ridiculous. but isn't there financial aid? and if you already have money thru rich parents that supports you, you are able to afford it. if not, financial aid sure helps alot. who would pay the teachers? would they do it for free for the rest of their lives? if they do, how will they live? someone just gonna give them a place to stay? sleep? eat? or will the students offer a trade for the teacher? but that leads to the concept of money.
