Regardless of whether its for a criminal or a civil matter, and especially when dealing with child custody stuff, always get a decent lawyer. Siccness advice doesn't cut it.

Mother has no custody or visitation. And is not employed. I want to know if I can file for child support even thou she not working. And if I do file against her will she get custody? All feed back is appreciated. Thanks folks!

if your boy knows for a fact that the bitch is on drugs then he should file for custody to get his kid away from harms way.there are judges out there who actually look out for whats best for a kid...now if your boys out there gettin high himself then he has no room to complain.

someone who's on welfare obviously cant pay child support,but they can have a separate case against them with the money accumulating (with interest) until they're able to start paying back support.
