my homie and his BM are going thru some shit, like 2 weeks ago he showed up at my crib asking for a favor.. for me to drive follow him to his house so he could drop off the car (which is under his name) and to pick up his stuff so he can go to his mom's since he's splitting up with his girl and wants a divorce. Well before we bounced to his house he took out the subwoofers/amp from his car which are his also he has a receipt and everything. Well anyways after we did all that i drove him to his moms house taking the subwoofers/amp with me in the car, dropped him off and all his stuff later on his girl showed up hella pissed in his car saying he took her subwoofers and all that and she was calling the cops on him.

She claims he beat her (she has no bruises and i was with him all day so thats a lie) and that she dropped the kid which he's only 1 1/2 years old and he hit the corner of the dresser (another lie.. he fell off his trike) her sister said she was there and saw it.. (yet another lie she was in the bathroom) well later that night we were chillin at my house dropped him off after we got some jack in the box and an hour after we dropped him off cops showed up and booked him on domestic violence charges. He was in county for 3 days before he posted bail which was originally 50k then dropped to 10k then he only had to pay 10%.. well she has a restraining order on him but still tries to email him and she texts/calls me like crazy how much he misses him.

my question is.. can they charge me on "assist"? because apparently if he goes to trial im getting 2 years for 'assisting' him and he gets 10 for all these bullshit lies. This is what the police report says.. 2 years for me and 10 for him.

do what they said.....maybe you don't need to drop half on the lawyer, but help him out with it as well and make sure you go with him every time he talks to the lawyer since you're named also...he should also go to family court and start the paperwork on getting custody (or at least partial custody) of the kid.

also make sure he doesn't answer her phone calls and only communicates thru text, because with most phones there's records of the texts....especially if he has a pda or blackberry, there's software that will let you keep logs of all the texts and print them out....if she talking bout she misses him then have him play into it sayin he misses her too and whatnot then ask why she lied once she's feelin like things are going well....get her to rat herself out so he can bring those e-mail records to the court date

real talk, all the girl gotta say is she was hit... There needs to be no proof, I've seen homies get locked up for it countless times... Hopefully this is your homies first offense. He'll probably get off with some DV classes

I'd just like to reiterate that you are eligible for 2 years in jail because of this bitch, do as much as you can to assist your friend in this because that shit has much to do with you now and this woman needs to be taught a lesson and probably have that child taken away.

good lookin out y'all.. my homie says i cant be charged.. all i did was drive him.. she says i can. We've got about 2000+ texts worth of harrasment from her. Shes bipolar as fuck.. one minute she says she misses him and wants to work shit out. the next shes saying fuck him shes going for full custody.

she emails him like 20 times a day.. he doesnt email back.. only reads.. he doesnt answer her calls, and he doesnt have a cellphone. He left everything to her pretty much. Cell, Car, Clothes, Xbox, Tv, Furniture.

This is my reputation on the line tho.. i go to jail or even get a misdemeanor it fucks up my chance of getting the job i want. My homies as well he just started a new job that pays alot of guap.
