im not sure the exact numbers, but i think the game is thick part 2 pushed over 100 thousand units, mostly cuz of his death though, there was a huge spike. i would estimate he made around 1-2 million total off of his albums, but thats a pretty conservative guess

This is what I found on Soundscan:
YBB 255,900
Rompilation: 65,763
Stupid Doo Doo Dumb: 500,013
Rapper Gone Bad: 187,187
Mac Dre is the Name: 22,451
Its Not What U Say its How U Say It: 16,897
Al Boo Boo: 13
Dreganomics: 1,674,987
Genie of the Lamp: 80,547
The Game is Thick: 100,000

Judging by Soundscan, Dre certainly reastablished himself after Al Boo Boo, where he hit an all time low after his legendary deformity resulting from the uncoordinatated and astonishingly dangerous cockfight in 2002. It should also be noted that Dreganomics sold more than ten times more than Genie of the Lamp, although not in Pacifica, Redwood City and other honky ass neighborhoods where people actually believed MD was a genie and bought the same genie costume at Daly Citys Party City store (where number of Genie customs sold actually surpassed the total number of copies of Dre's Al Boo Boo).

prolly typical bay/mac dre pride on my part, but i bet some rappers w/ a lot more money and fame than dre have got some game, or bit off a piece of treal tv...there's no doubt in my mind that this dvd has spread pretty far

I hope so! That in all honesty is the best rap or hip hop related DVD I have ever seen. Most are just ehh and the quality is passable. But Treal TV was well done all around and offered so much. It was one of the few that deserved to be sold.
