I'm about to wait 3 more days until I play this game, homegirl that works at Gamestop said i could "rent" it and decide if i really wanna buy it. I wouldn't see why i won't like it, I enjoyed 2 & 3.

Killing American soldiers is somehow worse then killing Iraqi's/Afghani's that are defending their homeland?

My simple logic is that currently the american military is the enemy of the world - they are the ones who are invading third world nations to oppress the people and steal their resources (also known as Imperialism), therefore it would be more appealing to me to fight the enemy.

WWII games are so popular because you get to kill Nazi's - pretty much everyone agrees that Nazism/Fascism is fucked up therefore no one has a problem killing Nazi's.

Modern warfare is a turn-off to me because I know the American military is unjustly invading poor countries and taking their resources - I wouldn't receive much pleasure wiping out some poor ass Iraqi's who are simply trying to defend themselves, simply for the interests of Imperialist nations.

It would be much more of a challenge (as well as mentally stimulating) to be the underdog and fight the most powerful military in the world.

I know it's just a game, but that's how I see it. When I played Red Alert, who do you think I always picked?
america isnt on the first red alert, cant remmember if their on the second, and russia had the mammoth tank, lol, thats not a fair way to judge things, lol

Red Alert 2 you begin the game by choosing either the US (Allied) or the Soviet Union. The game starts off with the Soviets invading the US. The best part of the game is destroying the World Trade Center and the White house.

One of my all time favorite games.

That game is awesome. Can't you destroy the Statue of Liberty? World in Conflict might be up your alley, because the Soviets invade America on that game as well. You can go nuclear on that game.

What? Just because I live in Amerika I have to support Amerika?

I'm a communist, so naturally, a game about Communists invading Capitalist Amerika was/is appealing to me. Destroying the White House = fun for the whole family. The WTC might seem fucked up now, after 9/11, but remember this game was pre-9/11, and in case you didn't know, those two towers represented capitalism.

Oh and a lil history lesson for you Portuguese Godfather, since you obviously spend too much time on games and neglect other shit, the Soviet Union collapsed in the early 90's and Russia is no longer Communist (and they never really were a true communist country in the first place). Why the fuck would you recommend I move to Capitalist Russia? That's just stupid. Further, just because another country is communist, what makes you think I would want to move there? It's not like I don't have a family and friends and work here. Not easy to just say "oh hey, I don't like the government so I'll just drop everything, learn another language, move to another country and find work and settle right in." pfffffft
