barce isnt the one of the two best teams in the world.

Come on Grapes.... you say some pretty stupid shit in these threads but that has to be one of the worst. They are in the CL final, meaning they ARE one of the two best teams in the world.

Who in the EPL is better than Barca??? I'll give you Man U. Chelsea? No way. Liverpool? On their best day maybe. Arsenal? LOL

I'll tell you this though, Barca wouldn't have had to wait til the 86th to beat Wigan LMAO

no chance, he is a good player but his attitude stinks and he cheats too often

best player = overall
I think people often get caught up with who the best player is RIGHT NOW on a week to week basis compared to all time achievements, status within their team, influence on games, etc.

Drogba is a great striker one of the most respected in the world but he can sit down and be replaced and Chelsea will still look like Chelsea (a very boring squad to watch IMO and this is coming fro ma Serie A fan, lmao). Diego Milito is one of the most dangerous strikers in the world, but when he's hurt Eto'o and Balotelli will go on scoring goals just fine.

I think now that half the season is over you have to add Ibrahimovic into the equation for best active player. I hate Ibra, imo he's a mercenary and will play for wherever they will pay him most, which in some sports may be OK but its not in soccer. But he is a game changer. You need an example, you don't need to look far (this seasons el classico) he came on, scored a goal within what, ten minutes? And a great goal at that. You need another example? Inter Milan 4 - 3 Atalanta. Youtube it.

I think you also need to add Cesc Fabregas into the equation. His stats are ridiculous this season, 12 assists in 16 games or somethin like that, scored two great goals over the weekend, an overall class act.

IMO the greatest player will never be an out and out striker because out and out strikers are fed by good midfielders.

Fabregas, Messi, Ronaldo are the top 3 in the world although Ronaldo is fading fast. A lot can happen until the end of the season, however.

I'll agree that he's the best striker in the world, perhaps the most physically gifted. Overall I like Messi better though. And I'll also agree that Chealsea is 2nd best team in the world right now, no doubt about it...

And I've always liked Fabregas, but he needs to stay healthy to prove to everyone he's elite. I still like Iniesta, Xavi and Torres better than him overall...

They are very boring to watch, I remember when Abramovich just bought the club and they had wingers like Robben/Duff, these guys were exciting to watch, making runs down the flank, cutting inside with great dribbling skill.

Drogba has a good frame and is very strong in the air and ground, as well as good finishing, not doubting he is good, but compared to someone like the real Ronaldo, he is not in his class. Ronaldo had everything, strength, speed, technique and could create goals from anywhere by himself.

I agree 100% about Fabregas, he has a lot of potential to be a great player and Arsenal are definatley one of the better teams to watch.

C.Ronaldo to me is like david beckham, bought mainly for sales and marketing purposes, he was good to watch when he was as sporting lisbon, maybe its my hatred for man utd but I hated him ever since and the fact he dives makes it worse. I think he is good but very overrated and one of the games biggest divers alongside drogba, its not fair to mention these two with great players, cheating is not in the spirit of the game and I don't care how much skill you have on the ball or how much of a dead ball specialist you are, if you dive like a bitch you will never be considered great.

Drogba is a beast right now... definitely.
reminds me of Andy Cole the way he always ends up in a position to score

Anelka & Drogba is an awesome combo..

and Ronaldo is still a great player it just doesnt matter now because La Liga is shite.

Premiership is top flight full of class.

Tight video of the REAL Ronaldo. Ronaldo is the best striker of our generation and he revolutionized the position, much like Zidane did the midfield. No one should even be compared to Ronaldo, even after he lost his incredible physical ability he still broke the record for World Cup Goals. The guy can flat out score...

C. Ronaldo and D. Beckham are a good comparison IMO, both are good role players on a stacked team, but can't carry a team to shit. Look at Beckham in the MLS, can't even help the Galaxy win that shit...LOL

Zidane invented the stepover too.

Loved watching that dude play, best midfielder ever in my opinion.
