This is a GOod topic 2 discuss. I consider him 2 be part of the Bay muiscally...My potna considers him 2 be a hardcore rapper from Cali..2 each his own. Next time Coup D'Ville or the Siccness sets up an interview with him, this would be a coo question 2 ask. That would settle this dispute.

I disagree, most sac rappers have a completly different style and production than bay rappers. For the most part they are either hard on that gangbangin shit like C-bo or they are into dark shit like lynch or first degree same with rappers from Stockton and Fresno, i put them all in the same catigory.

yup yup..the bay style is completely different..theres no way you can say the bay and sac is the same..except that there both part of northern cali..

Very true... and it's all Nor Cal! If we split up CA... the Bay would Be Northern Cali's Capitol as L.A would be Southern Cal's! Nor Cal has a differnet swagger than the rest of California... but the BAY can't take credit for it all when at times Bay niggas do! I love it all and as a Sac artist(who doesn't bang).. I know my biggest spot in CA to promote is the Bay bcuz that's the spot where they'll understand my lingo!

Yo i see alot of mu fuckas make it a point, in every thread with bo's name in it, to state that he is not a bay artist. while this is partialy tru i still disagree, yeah bo is fro sac we all know that, but you cant say that bo isnt as much of bay area rap as quinn or yuk is, he has had a major influence on the bay area rap scene, killa tay too for that matter(from fresno) so although it is true that he is not from the bay, i think it is pointless to type "BO IS FROM SAC" everytime his name is mentioned in b.a.r.t. any body agree, or have i had too many beers after work today> PEACE!!!!!

You make a good point, I have always seen Bo as a Bay Artist, because back in the day you would only hear Bo or 3x being played on the streets in Oakland. His sound shaped alot of Bay artist that are now coming with the Hyphy sound.

i was just thinking that when i clicked on this thread, for the longest time i thought dude was from frisco.
c-bo is from sac and claims it to the fullest. we all got love for dude but don't try and claim he's bay because that fails to acknowledge the scene that he has worked so hard to build in sac.
