you must not keep up with NFL rules homie.YOU CANNNOT do anything you want after the Game is over.Michael Vick, after the game was over from a 31-13 loss to the Saints flipped off fans in the Georgia dome, and he got fined 10,000 by the leagure for it.Point is there are rules in place on what you can and cannot do after the game is over, and the patriots taungting of Shawn Merriman after the game is no different then Reggie pointing at Urlacher.

To me the fine is gay,but if your gonna fine Reggie for just "pointing" at somebody you need to do it for anybody taunting, better yet dont fine anybody for it.Period
vick got fined because they never allow you to do shit to fans

of course homie.

but he said "after the game you can do whatever you want"

which is false, point is there are still rules after the game is stopped.I know the Vick incident had different circumstances, but that wasnt my point

By saying that I had assumed people would realize what I meant. It's kinda like how America is a "free" country, but you can't do anything you damn well feel like doing. Everyone knows the limits and the Patriots did not exceed them. Get over it.

And please explain the post-game rules so we all know them in the future. Because as far as I know, they don't have any specific rules that tell them what they can and cannot do after the game is over. They only ask them to conduct themselves as professionals.. Celebrating is one thing, flipping your fans off is another. What the Patriots did was not professional, but it was within boundaries..

And another thing.. You say the Patriots doing Merriman's dance is the same as Bush pointing at Urlacher during the run? Please. People are known for mimicking other players'/teams' signature dance. For example, many people have done the "Dirty Bird" after scoring on the Falcons. No penalties or fines were given. So why would they give the Patriots a fine for doing Merriman's retarded dance?

Taunting in the middle of a play and mimicking a whack ass dance are not the same, sorry.

^^^haha yeah dat homie

and as for that other weak response as usual, what Rasan said basically sums it up.good sportsmanship is good sportsmanship.LOL you think that just because the game is over all of a sudden you have a pass to taunt other players????When the Most Valuable Player of the league and a hall of fame coach like Mike Dikta agree it's over the top to celebrate like that after youve already won,it aint just my opinion homie.Do you remember what happened to TO when he stood on Dallas star?He got smashed on.Why? cause it's disrespectful and unsportsman like to celebrate in the middle of the homefield on their logo, its not just my view the players on the field think the same way too otherwise George Teague wouldnt have blasted him, plus he got suspended a week and docked a weeks pay on top of that.

both situations with reggie and the patriots dont merrit any type of fine to me,its football and part of the game.but i do think if the League aint gonna put any penalties on what the Patriots did,Reggie should not be fined for just pointing at urlacher.

^^^^T.O. did it twice tho but i can understand i mean if the patriots were goin to the super bowl then could understand them celebrating even tho the been there 4 times in like 6 years or some shit like that. Also tho beating a team like the chargers that were predicted to win the super bowl is also something to celebrate about

i just thought of this, if u were gonna fine the pats for doin merrimen's dance than dont u have to fine merrimen next time he does it. no matter how u look at it its taunting so i dont feel the pats should be fined on that unless u gonna fine merrimen every time he does it

Yeah, when he said "charger fans stick together."

More so than when the game is still going.

LMAO @ bringing up those two. Ditka was a coach.. His opinion on this situation means no more than anyone else's. What has the commissioner said? Because his opinion would matter. Ditka's doesn't. And LT.. His opinion is obviously biased because he's on the losing end of the situation.

That's because he did it twice, AND IT WAS DURING THE FUCKIN GAME. What do you not understand? Nothing came of the first offense, it was the second one that did it.

I'll tell you what.. The next time the Patriots go to your stadium, knock you guys out of the playoffs again, and start mimicking Merriman's dance on your logo again.. THEN you can cry like a little girl all you want.

GET OVER IT.
