David Faustino, who is most remembered as Bud Bundy on Married...With Children for years on Fox, was arrested with marijuana in his possession and under the influence of alcohol this past weekend during a fight with his ex-wife. David Faustino was arrested for disorderly intoxication and charges of marijuana possession, according to a New Smyrna Beach, Florida police report. According to Entertainment Tonight, David Faustino was arrested on Saturday morning and taken into custody after a public dispute with his ex-wife, Andrea Elmer.
Andrea Elmer and David Faustino have been separated for about a year and Faustino officially filed for divorce in February. The altercation between David Faustino and Andrea Elmer on Saturday morning was not physical according to witnesses and the couple admitted that they had been drinking. When the police interjected in the argument between David Faustino and his ex-wife, they searched Bud Bundy and found a gram or marijuana in the Married...With Children star's pocket. David Faustino was arrested, taken to Volusia County Branch Jail and released later that day.
According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Officer David Freeman spotted a car stopped in the intersection of Flagler and Peninsula in New Smyrna Beach around 2am on Saturday morning. David Faustino apparently then tried to climb out of the driver's side window, but failed, and then opened the door and was swinging his arm at the door. The officer thought that David Faustino might be swinging at the female driver, who was later identified as Andrea Elmer, formerly Andrea Faustino, and he confronted the couple. David Faustino tried to walk away, but was ordered back and complied. Andrea claimed that her ex-husband did not hit her and both admitted to having had drinks earlier in the evening. Andrea Elmer and David Faustino were married in Las Vegas in 2004 and officially divorced in February of this year.
The 33-year-old David Faustino is definitely most well-known for his role as Bud Bundy on Married...With Children, but he has also appeared on Little House on the Prairie, Family Ties, The Love Boat, St. Elsewhere, The Twilight Zone, Mad TV, Jesse, Unhappily Ever After, Batman Beyond, Nash Bridges, The X Files, The Bernie Mac Show, and One on One. You can also catch him in the recent-to-DVD, National Lampoon's Pucked and in this summer's RoboDoc with Andrea Elmer.
