WOW!!! (Could You Be More Wrong?) I don't know how much real knowledge or experience any of you guys have working with any of the artist it the topic of this forum, but just from our personal knowledge and relationships with most of them I can honestly say that 80 to 90% of these prices are wrong. (Personal opinion or not) I know for a fact that C-Bo, Yuk, Killa Tay, and AP.9, wouldn't even engage in a phone conversation for the prices listed. Granted that there are some instances where friends and/or associates may have had the luxury of paying close to or a little over these prices, those aren't paid on a regular basis. At the end of the day, even their friends pay so why would they allow someone outside their circle to short change them. Also, it's almost as if the person giving his "opinion" is unaware that there is a whole other world out there outside of the West Coast. I'm hoping this person realizes that the "Bay" area "California" is only 0.5% of the music industry.

If he could live comfortably... then why doesn't he just get the fuck up out of the game? It is obvious he doesn't have a passion for the music anymore. He probably isn't even making these business decisions..... it gotta be the new manager of his.. he is the one that runs Lynch's myspace. That nigga should of stuck with Art.B

maaan, from an indie point of view, no underground rap artist is worth more than $1K, unless you gettin serius radio play and pushin like 20K units but then why would you wanna pay someone else that you're in competition with?? I mean even i was sittin on like $300K, who's worth paying that is gonna make the song go bigg?? Yuk? Lynch? Mess? maybe C-Bo or Twista

truth to the matter is..all these muthafuckas made a lil money in there prime and now most of them are broke. they still try to pretend that there name is valued but truth is there name on a verse isnt going to help you sell shit. you can waste 10G's in getting 3-4 features of decent named artists and still have an album sittin on the shelf with 30 other muthafuckas that got the same washed up names on there album. you just better off making a name for yourself.
