He was in the dog house cause he's lazy.

I told he wasn't all that.....

thats what I am thinking too, but they have not came out and said ANYTHING about why the deal is happening...he hasn't traveled to either preseason game, and hasn;t been around much in practice.

don't know if it's laziness, attiude, doesn't like scheme...or what??????

Probably all of the above.

He did the same thing in Cleveland…one good year…and that’s about it. People didn’t like his laziness and attitude there…and it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the same thing going on now.

does anyone ever wonder why the AFC west loves to trade with the division?

do the broncos really want to make the raiders better? I mean at first I was like "great trade for the raiders" , but damn if he was really that good, would the donkeys really be trading him? If warren was really that good overall, why would he have been traded all those times?

i think its a good trade - good DT's are hard to come by even if they are trading for "potential"

Denver didnt want him to go to Indy, who had a strong interest in signing him. Better the Raiders since they wont make the playoff than meeting Indy in the playoffs with Warren.

they would have GLADLY traded with Indy...if they came knockin....all Indy did was say they are interested...thats it..no offers..they were waiting for us to dump him so they can get him for free.

Sapp doesn't seem to excited about him...

The team's personnel staff was probably thrilled to acquire a former No. 3 overall draft choice from a hated rival like Denver, but somebody forgot to consult Warren Sapp, the Raiders' unofficial tribal chief.

Asked about the trade -- which sends a conditional fifth-round draft pick to the Broncos in 2008 if Warren makes the team, and is contingent upon his passing a physical this morning -- Sapp sounded decidedly cool to the idea.

"If he makes it, he makes it. If he doesn't, he doesn't," Sapp said -- three separate times.

The voluble one went on to say: "He's not going to make or break us. If you don't make or break us, you're irrelevant to us. We're a unit. We're a unit that runs together. I see my eight (defensive linemen). My eight's been here since I first walked in the door and I said, 'There's my eight. . . . I can win with those eight.' And he never came into that picture until I walked into the job this morning. I don't see him cracking that eight. I don't make personnel decisions around here, but I don't see him cracking my eight."
