Brock does have a decent chance of winning this fight honestly.. Have we seen Dos Santos defend takedowns? Especially from a man like Brock.. Honestly, I think Cain is the only guy who can easily stop Brock's takedowns and Brock will never beat the guy.. But if Brock can get on top of Dos Santos and stay there.. No way Dos Santos wins the fight.

To me, it was obvious Cain was gonna destroy Brock. Still not sure about this matchup.

Do you assholes read or skim through posts. I NEVER said what Brock is doing is a bad thing. I just simply stated what someone would have to do to beat him. Which the videos you posted clearly shows what I was saying is true. 1. Brock doesn't have a good chin the videos proves that he was seriously hurt in both fights. 2. Brock uses his size and wrestling skills to rest and recover, again the video clearly shows that's a fact too. Again I just don't understanding all the shit talking when in essence we're all saying the same damn thing.. Brock is a big strong guy, with good wrestling skills, and a weak chin. You take one part of my post (laying) and run with it, like I didn't state the fact that Brock was big, strong, and a good wrestler. One person makes a smart ass comment then the rest of you dickriders jump in without READING the post trying to get some kind of internet cool points. LOL internet tuff guys i guess.. Here's my 1st post below now tell me what part of this post is a lie because i don't think Cain would say I was lying.
Brock does not have a good chin and he has stamina problems. Brock fights in brusts, he attacks then he lays and recover. The main reason why he has been able to win fights is because of his freakest size, strength, and wreslting skills. If you have some ok boxing skills, a ground game, and some great stamina you will KO Brock. Do not let Brock recover when you hurt him

ok you are infact right about that herring fight but that was he just wanted his 1st win in the octagon sealed and you could see that. ever since then he tries to finish every guy. and yeah he's a mature dude thats inexperienced and if anything thats a disadvantage to him because by the time he's past his prime he'll still be learning basics on some stand up and submissions. i dont like or dislike brock but for anyone to say he lay and prays when he fights just dont know what there watching.

I wouldn't call getting on top of someone and pounding their face in, laying and praying.


Brock isn't looking to just control from the top, he's looking to finish from the top. Huge difference between someone who is just trying to keep the dominant position, and someone who is trying to get in position to crush your face.

I was simply addressing the statement that Brock lays & prays, which I don't think is true, at all. He's not a grinder, he's a finisher.

4 of 5 of his wins were by way of stoppage. 80% finish rate.

Show me a fighter who lays & prays who finishes 80% of their fights.

The part I was referring to is that I do not believe that when he is on top of someone, it is for recovering (the huge majority of the time) and that he has stamina problems like you mentioned because I do not believe stamina is an issue for him. The LnP was referring to WXS. He did a lot of wrestling in the hearing fight but that is the only fight he did anything like that, I do feel that if he gets on top of JDS he can finish him and I don't think anyone will disagree that Brock's chin is his biggest problem.

i mean most wrestlers do that though, they take the guy down and try to work from there and if theres nothing they can pull off then thats sux. all i'm sayin is brock only did what your talking about once and you act like he does it every time. from what i see in brock is every time he takes a guy down he manhandles them and tries his best to finish. it's very rare that he gets stood up too because he's always working when he's on the mat. i do however agree with that he cant take a punch yet. all fundamental go out the window with this guy everytime he gets hit hard enough and i think JDS will smash him in the 1st. but to say he'll lay on a dude and smother him him just to get the win is very false to me. brock gets better with every fight and even though we didnt have time to see wht he improved on in his last fight, if he takes JDS down i bet he'll look even better than he's ever looked on the floor.

Also, Big Country's wrestling is nothing like Brock's.. Brock will probably be able to take this guy down at will.. Just only has to worry about getting KO'd coming in..

I'm pretty 50/50 on how i think this fight could go.. Not really sure who'll win.
