Man Brady only been playin 7 years! He has hella years left! Let the man finish then decide where he ranks! Its a compliment in its own that there is a argument that he is better than Montana!! Most likely when Brady retires he will be considered the greatest of alltime!! I know after 7 years he is way better than Joe was!! So again let the man finish cause he has more shit to do trust me!! And ofcourse whiner fans are gonna say Montana regardless so why do yall argue with them?? Give it a few more years and this discussion will be cookies!! Got Em!!
You just a Cowboy fan, so obviously Montana aint better over Brady

Brady aint gonna be ahead of Peyton when its all said and done, it was the Patriots defense that won them there 3 superbowls, Yes had good drives in those wins but the defense got him in that position, they havent blown anybody out in a Superbowl and when he had his best offensive players this year he managed to only score 14 points when it mattered most
Really though. The defense is what wins you the game when it's decided by 3 points. Now a 45 point blow out like Montana pulled, the defense as not quite as responsible.

Give it a few more years
I guess this is the new argument huh? First people were saying he's already better than Montana all time, now it's "give it a few more years."

Yeah, let's give it a few more years. Until then, he is not on Montana's level.

And czar you just mad cuz your squad has no QBs to be mentioned in the GOAT argument.

LOL.... I still think Brady is better than Montana or just as good.

Brady is tough and he didn't get rattled and he's not the reason the Patriots lost this game. Their cocky as coach gave up on the run. But anyway how many Int's did Brady throw? He still hung in there after all the hits he was takin'.... He had a good game considering the amount of pressure he was under. If Montana was in instead of Brady, Joe cool would have went out with an injury.

I thought you said Brady has "all the time in the world"... but anyway... I still feel that Brady can be compared to Montana even though they didn't win.

Montana lost the big game in 1991 against the NY Giants in the NFC game with th 49ers going for the 3rd Superbowl in SF and the Giants didn't even score a touchdown, so he HAS lost a big game.

I think you forget that Montana was actually knocked out of the game with an elbow injury that cost him almost two seasons of play.

He does, normally. The Giants didn't give him the time he needs and look what happened. I don't know who's point you're trying to prove with this statement, but you're proving mine.

I'm tellin you any decent QB in the league can succeed if their offensive line gives them as much time as Brady is used to having. Once that shit gets disrupted Brady looks like your average QB.

My point is people are saying he's the best RIGHT NOW. They're not giving it a few more years, they already think he's the best. Brady himself already proved that's not the case. I'm trying to put the debate to rest.

The funny thing is I'm a fan of Brady. You say "deal with it" as if I hate the guy. All I'm saying is HE IS NOT ON THAT LEVEL YET. He's just not. If he does surpass Joe Montana and prove to be the better QB, great. I don't care. But as of right now he hasn't shown anything to make me believe that's the case.

It was a joke.

CZAR said:

But neither can be brought up in the discussion of the GREATEST OF ALL TIME!

Your squad is TIED for most SuperBowls with 5. The Steelers and Niners also have 5. The difference is the Niners have never lost. I don't give a shit if a team goes to the Bowl and loses. All that means is they are the first losers. Big deal. I wouldn't be proud of that.

So who would have won that game last night playing under that amount of pressure? I don't see any qb (not even Montana or Peyton Manning) pulling that game out. And you said Brady was rattled? I mean he did eventually lead his team down to score that put them ahead 14-10. He threw damn near 50 passes and none were picked off.... Brady to me didn't look like an average qb. Your average qb would have went out with an injury or would have gotten picked off more than once. He stood strong and took punishment. The Patriots would have won but their defense didn't hold up.
