damn derek smith and ulbrich need to go. spencer is playin like plummer, giving the reciever like 10 yard cushions all the time..i guess he knows the safeties wont help over the top..the chargers are cool, thats a real 3-4 d right there

The secondary is fuckin terrible. They need a good corner.. Actually they need 2. Tony Parrish has lost a step at safety since breaking his leg last season, Mark Roman is decent at best. Shawntae Spencer is not good enough to be giving receivers the type of space he gives them. Walt Harris is good but he's old and a little slow, he just knows where he has to be in coverage. The defensive line is ass.. When B.Y. is still the best player on the line at his age and after all the injuries he's suffered it's time to look around and find some help in that area. The linebackers are pretty good, but they haven't been playing well lately. The whole D needs to be revamped and Nolan needs to get rid of Billy Davis and take over control. Norv is good enough to handle the offense by himself so it could free up Nolan to put most of his focus on the D. Nolan finally acknowledged that the D needs to be torn apart and reconstructed during the post-game interviews. We'll see what he does the next few weeks.

All i can say is, the better team won. The Chargers aint no joke but hopefully the Niners General Manager or whatever dumb fuck thats in charge of the roster can beef up that D. The offense is lookin better each week tho. Alex Smith is run shit soon. Give it a season or 2.
