The best to ever do it!!

No other musician has ever had more of an impact than Mr. Marley. Plus he left a pretty good lineage of music. All of his kids are more talented than 90% of the industry!!!

i somewhat agree but i havent heard a lot of his music.

but i hate the dumbass people that listen to him and wear his shirts cuz they smoke weed and all they think about is how he smokes weed too. yet i asked this one bitch at school (type that likes to show off how they do it big all the time but dont) had a bob marley shirt and said name 5 songs. an easy challenge. bitch said "um.. (pause) one love.. and.. (pause) fuck you" and walks away. hate that shit.

but back to bob marley.. i recently got into him and only have one album ("Legend"). anyone got any song requests or album requests?

My favorite Bob album is Rebel Music. From front to back the whole thing is classic.

"My music will go on forever. Maybe it's a fool who seh dat, but when mi know facts, mi seh facts.
My music will go on forever." - Bob Marley

if you havent listened to ky mani marleys newest album called radio, its AMAZING. every damn track on that album is slapppin. I must say tho because i like hiphop/rap, this album is more on that side with kymanis jamaican accent but regardless, its one of better albums released. all the marleys make greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat music but ofcourse it all started wit bob.

damian is supposed to be coming out with a new album soon.

if you like the marleys, you should most DEF go see them live cuz its 100 times better.

especially when they tour wit eachother. the last concert i went to was a stephen marley and damian marley tour but it was stephen marleys album release tour but damian came along for the fuck of it, and they both put on such a gooood show. they'd sing a few of bobs songs together, or damian would sing a stephen song or stephen would sing a damian song n shit, its just over all a very entertaining concert to go to. I been to individual concerts of some of the marleys as well, and the shit is just as good. i wish i could have gone to a bob marley concert.

i like all diff types of reggae too, but id have to say roots is my fav style.
if you guys like roots, then try groundation, they are an amaaaaaazing group from cali i believe.

i love listening to bob speak. i remember me and my cousin would spend our summers getting high and watching the same 4 or 5 bob marley documentaries everyday (well 1 a day). and one lee scratch perry dvd too. that fool would crack us up. but yeah we had all of bobs lines memorized, and try to speak in his accent and shit. it was funny...then we'd go outside and play catch or something...typical stoner summers. so whenever i listen to bob it takes me back to those days of not giving a shit about anything and just enjoying life day by day. i miss that

I think Bob Marley is over-rated personally. I've listened to his music on weed, off weed, lighting up weed... and I always think " whats the big deal bout this cat"
