are the BB storm as slow as people make it seem?
They're a little laggy at times. The one that I was given to test isn't bad, I made the screen more sensitive so shit is easier to click. There will probably be some sort of update.

What I like about the Storm so far :

-The display is beautiful, watching movies on it looks so nice.
with that said, I'm glad you can swap batteries on the fly and get an extended battery soon.

-Stereo bluetooth. I can listen to music using my bluetooth headset, no wires needed. This includes video audio as well. This is big because I listen to Sirius when I'm doing paperwork, so I can leave my phone charging at the pc and walk around doing shit.

-VZ Navigator is awesome on it, especially the audible turn by turn directions.

-3.2 mp camera that also does video.

- You can copy and paste in email and whatever else as well as open MS docs which is what everything important to our company written on.

- removable memory. I put so much shit on my 8gb and now I have 2 since it comes with a free 8gb. 1 has movies now and the other has music and shit like that. There are 12gb and 16gb cards coming soon. So I'll be able to get 2 16gb cards which will carry a shitload of media. I like to put my cards in card readers because it's quicker than syncing too.

With all that said I think the storm is for the tech savvy person that uses the device for their job but likes mobile media as a form of entertainment. This isn't for your 13 year old or grandmother.

I still can't wait for the Touch Pro though. It can do all that but the biggest thing I like about Windows Based phones are that there are a ton of developers that make anything you need and you get it for free. When it comes out I'm making them trade that out for me. Once I got my xv6800 I'll never switch to anything but an HTC phone.
