Statement from Cowboys coach Bill Parcells

"I am retiring from coaching football. I want to thank Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones for their tremendous support over the last four years. Also, the players, my coaching staff and others in the support group who have done so much to help. Dallas is a great city and the Cowboys are an integral part of it. I am hopeful that they are able to go forward from here.

"I am in good health and feel lucky to have been able to coach in the NFL for an extended period of time. I leave the game and the NFL with nothing but good feelings and gratitude to all the players, coaches and other people that have assisted me in that regard."

that wasnt an opinion....and how u gonna say they cant win even with good players and coach...when they got as far as they did, and then even then nobody is winning still except for those two. you stupid?

is that a fact??? No..... they did win and they went to the playoffs........ So thats his opinon......just becuz you dont agree with it doesnt mean its not an opinon.......

if your team is having a winning season or a losing season, it doesnt give your word anymore creditblity......... A football team record means nothing other then thats the team record.......it has nothing to do with YOU PERSONALLY.........

Personally i hate the cowboys with a passion probally just as much as the raiders. I love to see them lose and lose they do. My nfl team didnt do so great this year seein as they didnt make playoffs but they did end the season pretty strong and ended up with a 500 record.

damn, that sucks...

here's what i wish would happen though...

hire jimmy johnson and his combover as head coach, hire norv turner as offensive coordinator, hire mike martz as passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach, and hire wade phillips as defensive coordinator to get the 3-4 back to where it was the first 3/4ths of a season...






but i can only wish, right?

Word he never looked like he was into the game, just waiting it out except for that first game Romo started. Cowher is the obvious choice but Dallas aint fixin to give up no draft picks for a coach. I hope they dont get a college coach but thats more n more what its lookin like. Id like to see Denny Green get his shot. Yeah he couldnt turn the Cardinals around but then again noones been able to do that.
