What does having money and a chain have to do with how good a rapper you are? Diamonds chains don't make you less of a bum ass clown, look at hurricane chris, that nigga will still be a wack ass joke even if his shoes were made of platinum. "Oh shit look at that chain, but how's his album"?" Thats smalltime nonsense.

I never understand people who waste cake on some diamonds and gold? What is the point?
Its all about ego. "I shine more than you, I can afford more expensive things than you."

And who said he is "wasting" his money on it. If you got a million dollars, and you buy $5000 in jewelry, you have only spent .5% of your money.

Plus, pretious stones and pretious metals are ALWAYS worth money. If the dollar were too crash, anyone with jewelry would still have assets. Although this will likely NOT happen anytime soon.

He's got a million dollars? I could care less what he spends his money on I just felt like raising that issue. The battle of "Shine" is silly as fuck.

Ihave no clue how much another has in his back account, but thats besides the point.

Maybe someone gave it to him? We have no clue how he acquired it.

The battle of "Shine" is silly as fuck.
Of course it is...but guess what? Its apart of the RAP GAME...has been ever since it started. The one with the biggest ego, biggest house, most expensive cars, and most women...are the "alpha male" of the rap game. As a fan of hiphop, I would expect you to understand that.:ermm:

You act like hiphop was always about that bullshit. Back in the day they didn't go around bragging about the shit in every song. They just wore it but it did not taint or consume the music like now. Rakim wore donkey ropes but how many songs does he have bragging about his wallet or cars?

No, but its still BRAGGING. Youre missing the point temendously.
No you missed the point. My whole point was early hiphop was not about bragging about what you have material wise. I.E. Chains, rims, cars, house etc.

Back east that shit was hardly talked about. Only west coast rappers talked about daytons and all that. And it was mentioned not made as a bragging point. Man how many songs were strictly about rims or blowing money like today? Hardly any .
