This review is a perfect example of why a geographical area shouldn't label it's music with a catch phrase ('hyphy'). Once that sub genre is established, no matter what kind of music comes from that region (unless it's on some other, OTHER shit) it gets classified under that sub genre.
It's like the reviewer here is assuming the album is hyphy because it's from the *** area. At the same time, he takes the time to express why he feels like it's just like every other album out right now. So basically what he's saying is that the album is the same as every other album, but different because it's from the *** area, which makes it hyphy (no matter what the music sounds like). You gotta wonder if his editor proof reads his reviews to look for consistency issues.
