This review is a perfect example of why a geographical area shouldn't label it's music with a catch phrase ('hyphy'). Once that sub genre is established, no matter what kind of music comes from that region (unless it's on some other, OTHER shit) it gets classified under that sub genre.

It's like the reviewer here is assuming the album is hyphy because it's from the *** area. At the same time, he takes the time to express why he feels like it's just like every other album out right now. So basically what he's saying is that the album is the same as every other album, but different because it's from the *** area, which makes it hyphy (no matter what the music sounds like). You gotta wonder if his editor proof reads his reviews to look for consistency issues.

AS LONG AS THIS REVIEW ISN'T COMING FROM AN XXL, VIBE, MURDERDOG OR ANY OTHER HIP-HOP PUBLICATION THAT IS LARGELY CONSIDERED CREDIBLE, IT WON'T HAVE ANY EFFECT ON RICH WHATSOEVER.

JUST SOME OUTSIDERS OPINION.

Yall sound like suckers hating on this nigga, when the CD was worthy of the rating. I love the *** and I rep that to the fullest, and I'm not a Big Rich hater, but if we support crappy music ( like this album ), we are gonna go NOWHERE!

It's clear this guy does not like rap. His review is obsolete. Hyphy is hyphy, well he don't know what hyphy is. Just cause hyphy is out the bay, doesn't mean all music out the bay is just that. Big Rich's cd goes hard and it's on some of that ol skool bay area rap...
