I always thought Fingatips was just another persona for Phonk Beta, kinda like Evil is the producer name for Lynch. I know songs produced by Fingatips sound almost exactly like classic beta beats so I figured they was one n the same.

Nobody mentioned First Degree. DE can make some sick beats imo, specially when he collabs with Lynch and Beta. G-macc producin some heat latley too.

I think that Hollis is a good producer, even though that alotta bad beats have his name on them. Y'all gotta see that rappers select those beats to put them on their album. Hollis doesn't force them. It's a business, and when he get paid why not continue producing those kind of beats?

Homicide is wack. He's a Sac pioneer for sho but he was weak on the mic. I remember the video Get What Cha Came For on Rap City back in like 95-96.

I don't know. I just aint never felt his shit.

Man... if you get a chance - check out 'Sucess' (track #8) offa his Plantation album... the hook is hella deep... and his verses should leave Sac thankful that their pioneer stacks up pretty nicely when compared to those of some other cities...

The other thing I like about that album is that the features were only listed on the inside of his album cover... I will always respect him for that!

Not givin' a fuck about any gimmicks...

Shit, if I get to the crilla early enough, I think I'll fuck around and post that song up for y'all!

he had a video on rap city for real?
Yeah, back in like 95-96. They showed it several times. He even had a review in The Source way back then.

I remember back in 2001 my uncle told me that Homicide got jumped by some bouncers @ that club Bobby T's. Not to get off topic but I was just saying.

His first album he did with Ced is impossible 2 find. I bet its a collectors item.

Like someone else said First Degree is a good producer too. He just got his own style & sound. His Fahrenheit Instraminas got some real good sounds on them.

Gangsta Dre has made some pretty good beats too. He don't produce much though.
