Let's get off into the best & the worst list of producers to hail from the valley.

I think there are some tight producer fom the valley that I like & some that I may not have never heard of.

Then there are some shitty producers that I've heard & some that I haven't that I might want to avoid.

We have a lot of good procucers that don't get the recogniton like a lot of West Coast producers that get the most props.

So here's the chance of a an up & coming producer to get a little shine & a overratted producer to be put on blast.

IMO Phonk Beta,Lynch were good back in the day e.g. SOTS and Loaded.Beta needs to come with something new cuz i havent really felt anyhting from him after Loaded.Big Hollis to me did no justice as far as the Raided's shit he produced. As far as "Lokie" not sure if you mean Loki who was down with Siccmade but i never heard nothin he produced but some of his shit is tight like 21 Gun Salute.E-Moe is coo with that laid back shit.Sir Dyno, aint feelin that Norte shit period. As for the rest can't say ive heard any of it

Big Hollis is trash. Funny cuz I was listening to Sac Kingz 1 & 2 today & I was like "Damn this nigga is trash". LOL! I actuallytook those CD's & put them in a a shoe box. I'm gonna get rid of them. I don't even know why I held on to those CD's for so many years. It be about 5 good songs out of 30. That shit just don't cut it.

Back in 2001 when I moved 2 Sac EVERYBODY was using Hollis beats. That was one of the major falls in Sac rap.

I like KG he's hella tight. Lynch is a good producer but he been slipping for the past few years. Beta is tight as fuck but he's hit & miss.

Crazy 8 is prolly the most underratted producer from the West Coast. Till this day I never understood why more artist didn't go to dude for beats.

Way Deep is pretty tight.

Don't like E-Moes production.

Lokei is hit & miss.

Fingertips is a cool producer.

^^^yea i meant to add kg too. i've heard from people that they think big hollis is tight but in that one period between like 2001 and 2003 they said his beats sounded all the same. i understood what they meant too. but i like some of his shit tho. smash is tight at least the stuff i've heard him do for peebodie on make it happen and j-mack's crime rate. i feel the same way about lokei but that shit he did for pigg penn his first one was tight and i like some of the shit he did for dre-d. never heard of fingertips tho. there's other producers but i can't think of them. what you think about n8 the gr8 and kreep?

Never heard any or N8 the Gr8's stuff. Fingertips di some shit on P-Folks first album & Sicx' ITWCT album.

Lokei came super tight on T-Nuttys I'm That Nigga song. When I heard that song I was an instant T-Nutty fan.

Hollis is the most overrated producer from Sac. He'd make one good beat & like 15 mediocre ones. Everybody was fucking with dude in the early 2000's. He had to make a fortune off of everyone back then. I remember Luni was fucking with dude pretty tough. It was bad enough Luni's rap skills went to shit but fucking with Hollis hurt him even more.

Hollis's 2000+ shit was trash simply because they all sounded the same, but back in the 90's he had a totally different style & was cool as fuck. his "Keep Holdin On" solo from 95 was dope, and both Skanless albums were dope too, especially "The Book Of Skanless".
KG is one of the most underated producers from Sac. He produced some of the best albums to come out of sac.
Phonk Beta was dropping nothing but classics in the 90's. I havent heard any of his newer stuff tho, so I can't comment on his latest work.
H Wood used to have some slaps as well.

Bad ass sucks & Hollis sucks ass @ rapping.

KG was hard. I never understood why Hollis got all the work out here when KG brought the tightest shit. I met him back in 2002 cuz I knew his girlfriend Sassey. He was a pretty cool dude. I think he's albino. But he should of been that niigga in Sac instead of Hollis. Hollis ws selling bad dope out here.

Never heard any or N8 the Gr8's stuff.
n8 the gr8 produced tracks for hollow tip. some of my favorites he did was off that flawless album. definitely had a sac feel to his stuff.

Damn i aint familiar with Lokei what other shit has he produced other than T-Nutty?
dre-d
lil pigg penn
i think msane
and maybe young joker and gangsta dre can't remember tho.

yea i ain't heard that holdin on in hella long. i forgot about skanless, i love that shit too. i read somewhere that phonk beta purposely changed up his style to more of sampling and he said that people always ask him to go back to that type of production but he said it ain't gonna happen which sucks. and h-wood, he aiiight. i didn't like his stuff. i remember having his cheap ass t-shirt for the long time coming album and it was so cheap that you can pull a hulk hogan and rip the shirt just like that lol. but yea i think the worst song i ever heard was i babysit my strap by h-wood sicx and some other dude.

He produced some artists from Texas. Those albums sell for $300 on ebay now days lol. He's down with Funk On Site Records & UC It Entertainmet now days.

H Wood had some cool shit (he produced the best songs on Hollow Tip's Flawless album), but I didn't hear a lot of his shit to really comment.

I can't stand Hollis' production noawadays. Soemtimes he comes up with something new, but I usually hear these damn flutes in the background and a simple bass line... Just listen to Global Recall by Luni Coleone or Still Wanted by Luni & Hollow and don't tell me he didn't ruin both of these cds with his production.

Other producers:
Baby Bubb (hit and miss, but on Hollow's Taking No Shorts 2 he did damn good)
Vince V (I think he's from Sac)

VINCE-V HAS TIGHT ASS PRODUCTION.
I was threw on the Twin Evil today & Vince had some cool shit on there. He also had some cool shit on the Lynch/MC Eiht project.

Lynch & Beta are good producers but I they started to fall off when I heard Siccmade Rituals. I was like "these are Lynch & Beta beats"? I was so dissapointed. COS was making some very shitty beat selections cuz Lynch & Beta are way better then that on the boards.

I guess in the end we can agree that Crazy 8 & KG are the most underrated producers & Hollis is the most shitty & overrated.

Who produced the beat for 'Mama Said' from the No Face Killaz album? It had Gangsta Dre and Young Jayda on it... That song is hard!
