When I say best I'm not saying judge just strictly off their catalouge.

Include other things that matter like Originality, lyrics, creativity, stage performance & chemistry.

Actually I can't decide right now so I'll vote later.

For the record I didn't forget other duos like Capone-N-Noriega, The Delinquents, Menace Clan & some others but out of 10 duos these were the best ones I could come up with off top. These polls are tough sometimes cuz u only get 10 options & it sparks a lot of heated debates & controversy cuz people are upset that certain artist made the cut & certain ones didn't.

EPMD dropped a single not long ago as well, agreed though their best shit was a long time ago, but they still my favorite rap group. I am sure there were 4 or 5 members of Botany Boys, Will Lean, Head, C-Note, Big Dez, D-Red

UGK and Outkast are the only ones on that list who have been able to keep themselves relevant by making good music after all these years

I feel u but in my original post I didn't name longevity cuz a lot of them groups broke up, stopped making music etc. before they could really take off. And a lot of the names on that list are/were just as good as UGK & Outkast.

Example..... Bad-N-Fluenz only dropped 2 CD's & Rapping Ron died in the late 90's. He's in the top 5 as far as Bay rappers to ever touch a mic IMO. Luniz dropped 2 albums on Nu Trybe that were super tight. There last album was fucked up because of Chris Hicks & half the songs were threw together & some that made it didn't even suppose to appear on the album.

Dogg Pound were looked like the next super duo but when everybody started leaving Death Row they started losing gas as well.

Not trying to make excuses for anyone but longevity doesn't always tell the story feel me?

Just for duo, as far as playing off each others flow/lyrics...I'll go with ATL, Cold 187um and KMG..Their old albums would have ZERO features...they didn't need em....other then that..yupp, Outkast....Great mixture of styles....I would say UGK too, pretty obvious/apparent.....but they brought very similar sounds 2 me...but they spawned a whole branch of offshoot groups tryin 2 do what they did...respect the architects
