damn just get metro pcs.....prepaid is a rip

I think your Metro is like our Cricket.. no? Local area only..?

I havent found out anything on the Costco deal (I'm waiting for my guy to e-mail me back..) but depending on what youre needing it for, you could always look into the phones for your local area.. its normally a flat rate $39 unlimited local calls, no long distance or bullshit attached.

Yeah i got Sprint PCS for my phone...Virgin seems like a coo ass deal...although i dont understand the "$20 every 90-days" thing...if its a pre-paid...why would i need to pay em money to keep the account open???

"Cut your losses from those annoying contract plans and just Pay As You Go. Virgin Mobile service means:
No contracts
No commitments
No monthly bills
No hidden fees

Just spend $20 every 90 days (even if you have a balance) and your account will stay healthy and active"

^^^That confuses me...

maybe you have to use a minimum amount... just buy at least $20 worth of airtime every 90 days and youre good to go...?

Yeah, if you have a prepaid phone you HAVE to re-add air time to it every 90 days (some make you do it every 60 days), if you don't they assume your service is inactive and they shut it off.

Any phone you have is gonna have ties.. depending on "why" you need no ties (and I'm not gettin' all in your kool-aid) pre-paid Virgin Mobile looks like its the way to go..

My guy said Virgin Mobile is the best he's heard of around here for pre-paid...

I currently work at radioshack. We sell virgin mobile, tracfone, sprintpcs and verizon. In my years of dealing with these companys. I will tell you virgin is the best for prepaid. Its 25 cents a min for the first 10min of each day you first used the phone then after the 10min its 10 cents a min for the rest of the day. Virgin is the best for many reasons. Virgin runs off the sprint network and is a sub company to them. Also adding min to virgin is as simple as going to there website www.virginmobileusa.com and clicking on TOPUP. then all you do as type in the phone number of the virgin phone and the top up pin number and it will send it to your phone. Tracfone has a big ass long process of pressing ##343428775489457 then some other 34328734374387 then you enter another pin for the min 43904908498 then it tells you your minutes have been aded. Shits fuckin annoying. Now verizon has prepaid it was just FREEUP now they recently switched to IMPULSE as its new name. Customers with FREEUP can switch to IMPULSE prepay for a fee. I dislike the new IMPULSE because the rates are higher on the minutes now. Also back to virgin mobile. The reason you must spend $20 every 90days is to ensure the same phone number. If you do not top up every 90days they disconnect you and upon reconnection you are assigned a new phone number. Long distance is included in virgin also. You do not pay long distance charges. Any other questions let me know.

I use virgin mobile as a side phone other than my cingular service. The cool thing is that you register and activate these phones online, and you can put them under any name whether its Bob Dole or Bo Jackson. You can get the basic phones for like 40 or 50 bucks.
