Nick (Cincy): KC, what have you found after researching the number of dropped balls by WRs around the league? What player seems to have the best hands in the NFL? Is TJ Houshmandzadeh near the top?

SportsNation KC Joyner: (4:18 PM ET ) Nick, Housh surprisingly wasn't anywhere near the #1 spot last year. In fact, he was 6.7 percentage points away from it. The surprising #1 receiver in that category? Arnaz Battle.

But you got to factor in on "dropped passes" how far is the reception...a short 5 yard one or a 20-30 yard pass and the coverage...was he being closely covered or wide open. I aint got a problem too much with dropped passes unless the player is wide open and drops them...like T.O. be doing sometimes but he scores so it is all gravy. I don't care too much about "best hands" there is more to it than that to being a great receiver....like speed ,foot work, ext...

Fucc it.... Anquan Boldin is one of the toughest and best in the league. That nigga aint scared to go over the middle and catch a ball....he aint scared to take a hit like most the other wideouts in the League that would rather be sideline receivers, most of them too scared to go over the middle. Boldin has one of the best Y.A.R. stats in the League (yards after reception)He makes the catch takes a vicious hit and keeps moving usually requiring 2-3 players to take him down.

maybe after the catch. as far as HANDS go? nope. he probably had close to the most drops last year. not as much as fucken moss though. bastard.
im sure the ruptured tendon in his hand, or the fact that he is planning his touchdown escape before the ball in his hand have anything to do with that, unless you are a 49er fan, you will never know how good terrell owens was, and can be.

Arnaz Battle? I gotta go with the dude that said what yardage where most of his catches around? Plus he probably didnt have near as much catches as alot of other dudes on the list. Either way, dude did step it up last year and hopefully can do it even bigger the upcomming season! 9ers boy!!

Yeah I think that may have had a lot to do with them drops. That mans hand was messed up... but didn't he lead the league in TD receptions?

this thread is confusing...

i'm not saying arnaz battle is weak, but if he really had the best hands in the nfl, a lot more people would know about this guy.

it's like the dallas cowboys coaches saying patrick crayton has better hands than terrell owens, jason witten, and terry glenn. if that's really true, then patrick crayton would be starting over to, glenn, and witten...
