I haven't seen every goal this season LOL, that's a lot of goals....In this thread the best goal was probably by Torres....I aint a big fan of his, but he's a huge star and has massive potential especially after winning the Euro Cup last year with Spain.....You're right Tim the way he controlled the ball and the almost impossible angle the strike came from, you don't see those goals very often......and the speed the ball travelled at, the goalie couldn't even react.....

Charlie Davies is dope, he just needs to get out of the Swedish league.
Charlie Davies isnt as good as he was last season . And if he leaves Hammarby i bet he'll go to some average dutch club or something. Nothing fancy. His team suck anyway , they're at the bottom in the swedish league.

Its my team i support , AIK Stockholm from Sweden. Swedish league sucks and is low ranked in Europe when it comes to quality . But the supporters make a great atmosphere so the games get watchable anyway ..hehe

Christiano Zanetti in todays Juventus match vs. Atalanta. Match was played behind closed doors because of a racism ban against Juventus supporters (which was bullshit) ended as another draw for Juve, they haven't won in 2 months and I'm pissed. This goal was class though

gave you props for keepin it real and not being a fuckin david beckham fan.....and you only got 200+ posts since 2002? Damn man....
Thanks .. Yeah i used to come here everyday and read about new bay area releases for a couple of years. Now i browse the board a couple of times a month . It's cool to see soccer threads here , they didnt exist a couple of years back lol...maybe world cup threads and euro championship ,but that was about it .. I got a question for the americans . How's soccer coming along at your side of the world? Is it growing or about the same? American football, basketball, baseball and icehockey still dominates the sportworld?

To stay on topic, i'll post a goal that meant alot for me this season. We were playing away against newcomers BP . And they usually suck(look at the grass, looks like mud), but were playing great against us . The score was 2-2 when jagne, a guy from my old neighborhood stepped in with 20 seconds left of the game(92:nd minute) and scored. we almost rushed the field!Funny shit , he used to tease us older guys and we would chase him around the neighborhood and when we did catch him(it's hard he's gambian and really fast lol) we beat his ass...for fun , not seriously .. and now he plays for the biggest club in sweden . Its good to see..

I think that soccer is growing for sure, just not at exponential rates. the MLS added a team this year and is adding a team in Philadelphia next year, and then a team in vancouver bc, and Portland Oregon in 2011. i dont have tv but it seems like there are more games on national tv this year, really just espn, but still its good to see. Plus the US has a bunch of young, promising talent coming up though the systems. football, basketball, baseball and probably even nascar has more fans that soccer, but i think once the US shows our strength in Gold Cup, Confederations Cup, and World cup, that it should boost interest. just one US fans opinion.

Cool . I hope you do well in the world cup. If we get there , i hope we can do some damage. We have Portugal and Denmark in our qualification group. Zlatan Ibrahimovic better deliver some goals in the upcoming games..

you guys will get there! you guys can beat out a thin portugal team which you are tied with... as long as you are top 2 you advance, and then the 3rd place team does a playoff round with someone else right???

I actually like Sweden as a National team. we always have friendly's against each other every year. it seems, and it looks like that will be a regular thing every year
