i would have liked 40's album a lot more if he wasn't tryin too hard to be a rapper that he really isn't......just my opinion though....HANDS DOWN- THE ROCK has been the best album of the year to me.

i picked champ bailey, cus that album came outa the cuts and was strait quality. we were all waitin on it, but noone expected so many knockers.

the team world premiere woulda been my pick, but because of all the leakage of songs, i let it slip.

b-legit block movement & e-40's are right behind em tho

I love all those albums but truthfully when put up against albums from previous years, all but one of those CD's were dissappointing to me. 2006 not been a good year. I voted Explosive Mode 2. That's my favourite so far and the most pleasantly surprising. Shit was dope as hell, all quality no filler, and incredible production. I appreciate 40's album for what it was, a tick the boxes sell units type of CD. Not even close to album of the year.

the mossie. i keep playing that over and over.
Yep I feel ya, I would have put it in the vote, that's the other CD I keep playing still that dropped this year. From the shortlist on this thread only EM2:BIB stays in my ride, and sometimes Balance CD or The Rock.

There a few Thizz CD's I listen to more often than some of them too, seems like Thizz got excluded from the vote. I liked that Dragons - Rapademics joint and all their comps were clean.

The Mossie and Jacka are the only other 2 that I seriously considered outting up there...Maybe Thizz should take a clue from not being on this poll.....It's so hard to pick from the 1,000 artists that they have....and i think i said this before, but there was no mixtapes on this poll for a reason....JUST REAL ALBUMS!
