Best 80's movies

I just downloaded a couple 80's flicks (Over the Top, Rad). The 80's were weird and the movies were weird too but entertaining as hell for some reason. There's some obviously standout 80's movies but what's y'alls favorites from the 80's

I gotta pick:
Rad (bike movie that was huge when I was growing up)
Karate Kid
Rocky IV

I was a huge BMX enthusiast when I was a kid, so I rented Rad on VHS quite often. And now I own it on DVD. That movie is corny as hell now, but there's some badass old school bikes in that movie.

I forgot quite a few of these. Money Pit is a pretty slept on movie. Tom Hanks is hilarious in that movie.

I've almost bought that Rad dvd online like 20 times but didn't. Someone posted that up on youtube and I've watched it a couple times on there, it's pretty clean. It is corny throughout most of the dialogue for sure. But a lot of the bike scenes hold up surprisingly well for it coming out that long ago. The soundtrack is cheesy but is a really solid "80's" soundtrack and fits the movie well. That was actually the first movie I ever remember watching in theaters when I was 3 years old in Santa Cruz.

Speaking of Santa Cruz, I just watched Lost Boys again the other day.

I'm really surprised they haven't re-made the Outsiders. Probably one of the best casts ever assembled for a low budget movie.

I asked someone this the other day and they couldn't answer it, were any of those guys stars at the time other than C. Thomas Howell? he wasn't a star really but had been acting since he was really young.

I've never seen breakfast club or St. Elmo's fire but heard they are both good. 16 Candles was pretty legit.

Just one of the guys is classic! LOL!!! Forgot about that movie. The little brother is straight comedy. Also the dude from Karate Kid being in this movie was a perfect choice for high school villain
