BAY AREA Producers Tha Network (Knocademus & P.O.) to release a remix of Jay-Z's Black Album called The READ (RED) Album. For those who haven't heard of Tha Network (Knocademus & P.O.), they can be heard on the Bill $tack album Stackin Bills on song #5 The Tools, the Fortune Entertainment Almost Famous Compilation, the upcoming C4 presents Dirt Husltlin, and the new remix for En Vogue's latest single Ooh Boy. I doubt Jigga will sue anyone...thats why they put a whole album out of acapellas...its a wonderful way to carry on his voice its like hes goin out with a bang....i think its dope...

What is the Red album and where is it avaialble?

I got that Grey album and the 2x Black album (Metallica Black Album with Jay Black album). How many versions are there out there??

there shouldn't be a lawsuit, since Jay-Z did release the complete album of acapellas. there is already like 10 or more of these remix albums, this is the first one to come out of the Bay.

it may be available in some stores if they are willing to take it.

it will be available online and on the streets primarily though

The Producers speak!!!!

Here is my production partners explanation for why he chose to name the project the READ (RED) Album!!!!

It has been asked around the net... Why red? ...And why spell it 'read' instead of 'red' ?
I say this... As an artist/producer, i chose the name pOETiq, and i like every piece i work on have literary overtones, phonetic spelling, and such.
I chose to used the word 'read' because i want the listeners to read between the lines of the songs and notice the intricacies of doing the album in realtime... hence spawning the 'r.e.' the led me to call this album The (red) Album. In this album, i produced tracks from every facet of my of my being. I produce with a number of production styles and this album showcases some of my best tracks.

Each track was made specifically for each song, then recorded with the vocals from a cd to minidisc, then immediately erased to start the next song. rough mixes ( U will know from dirt off your shoulder) were done on the spot while syncing the tracks to the cd. We really had a lot of fun doing these tracks, and some took longer then others, but we think you will enjoy what Tha Network has to offer on this and our other projects.
