I need information about coo or cheap music stores/2nd hand in NY ( bay area music ) since i'll be going there in March. I'm from Denmark so i need all the info I can get - good night clubs, clothing stores and where to buy music first of all. Please help me out !!!

bay music--i dunno...but I do know where to shop fa sho!

Go to Brooklyn at Fulton Street @ the Fulton Street Mall, theres alot of gear out there...as well in Harlem, uptown on 125th Ave, there's hella shit there too.

Go to any Wherehouse or anyplace that sells used CD's... I was out in New Jersey a couple years ago and got Cocaine Raps, Dangerous Dame Escape From The Mental Ward, Quinn Hustle Continues and hella other shit for a few bucks each... I replaced a bunch of shit I only had on cassette... All in good shape too, I guess people just heard em once and took em back or something.

I've been in NY too 5 years ago. Music wise I was disapointed a little bit. They don't got much Bay Area (and other West Coast) stuff.

go to FatBeats or someshit like that in Brooklyn. I went there and bought me san quinn and messy marv explosive mode..and the girl working there looked at me like "what the fuck you doing buying this?" lol..NY is coo tho.

I DONT KNOW IF THIS HELPS AT ALL BUT WHEN I WAS IN CONNETICUT (PASSING THROUGH) THEY HAD LYNCH AND C-BO CDS AND THIS WAS BACK IN LIKE 98 OR 99 CANT REMEMBER. I BE IN NEW YORK ALL TIME CUZ I GOT A LOT OF FAMILY THERE BUT NEVER STOPPED AT A MUSIC STORE THERE!!

fuck all that i don't support those people like u that jock that weakass shit that gets played on the radio 24-7. do u guys even know why the shit is on the radio. ny is the biggest city which has the most rappers. they actually get played on the radio. those idiot dj's here play what's hot at a mainstream level. ny is pretty mainstream don't ya think. unless you are from ny fuck u don't tell me to quit hatin. if 2pac was still around u guys wouldn't be jockin all that shit anyways. i give props when it is deserved though : Jay-z, nas, method man, and a few of the people who actually have decent beats.
