fuck all that i don't support those people like u that jock that weakass shit that gets played on the radio 24-7. do u guys even know why the shit is on the radio. ny is the biggest city which has the most rappers. they actually get played on the radio. those idiot dj's here play what's hot at a mainstream level. ny is pretty mainstream don't ya think. unless you are from ny fuck u don't tell me to quit hatin. if 2pac was still around u guys wouldn't be jockin all that shit anyways. i give props when it is deserved though : Jay-z, nas, method man, and a few of the people who actually have decent beats.
rofl

you know nothin about me fool... the last east coast album i bought was nas's shit over a year ago, so don't ever accuse me of being a east coast dickrider... as a matter of fact, ever since 2pac died i've been listening to less and less east coast shit, so hit yo breaks potna..... you sound like a square dissin a whole city... you say these fools don't know nothin and aint tryna fool wit bay area shit, but by saying 'fuck em' you'de be stooping to their level, don't ya think??

first of all, i'm from the EAST BAY.... get it straight, hater.... i aint defendin nothin, i'm speakin what's really goin on but you don't seem to wanna listen. and yes you did say somethin about supportin the music. you said we 'jocked the shit on the radio' and then said 'the radio plays no bay area shit' and '...til they start playin west coast shit, i wont listen to your dumbass' i didn't just say that for kicks.

second of all.... uhh you ever heard of some west coast rapper named snoop? dr. dre? xzibit? i coulda swore their MTV asses got some sort of love on the east coast. what the fuck does it matter to you what any radio station plays any damn ways? they appeal to the MASSES, not to what your dumb close-minded ass listens to. get your head out your ass, you do NOT represent the common music consumer. "nobody wanna hear about it?" speak for yo self. check this doggie, what artists are you lookin for NY radio stations to play any damn ways? dre dog? mac dre? messy marv? what have THEY done to make sure they get play on the east coast, huh? answer that. do you think the station programmers will just take a moment out of their busy day to pick up one of their albums (considering you can get any of their albums out east) out of the blue and play it on the radio? i hope that's not what you're thinking, because IT DOES NOT WORK OUT THAT WAY.

third of all.... you know why there aint alot of west coast rappers in the mainstream? because like i said, most of em don't APPEAL TO THE MASSES. you can either go with the flow or create some new innovative shit that will get love from coast to coast.... the game is a fish tank that's filled with sharks, so you either gotta become a shark yo'self or get the fuck out the water.

dre xz and snoop are all mainstream and it's alot easier for someone like them to get on the radio cuz they're from l.a. !!! second biggest city. r u seeing this now? why doesn't bay shit get airplay over there? because right now the major cities play certain kind of music for some reason. dirty south, east coast, l.a. don't get me wrong alot of that shit is tight but some of that is horrible. i aint closed minded either i listen to all bay area, l.a. good dirty south(outkast, ludacris, cash-money and the list goes on ) east (jay-z,nas, method man, redman etc. ) eminem is the best right now ( is he from the bay?) closed minded are the people that talk about how the rappers they know are gonna go platinum or the people who only listen to the rappers on the decline like mac dre or some of those weakass sac rappers. mac dre and dre dog are horrible comparisons. let's look at the guys on top that should be getting play (E-40,B-Legit,Richie Rich,Luniz,San Quinn,Mac Mall, fuckin Messy Marv) open your eyes and quit defending that shit

dog, the size of the city doesnt matter. St. Louis got this singin ass rapper on the radio talkin about how he needs 2 pairs of shoes so he can get to stompin or some bullshit, and guess what? The population of St. Louis is shrinking. not that it was ever bigger than say, Oakland in the past 40 years. And like I said, what has B-Legit, Richie Rich (he was signed to Def Jam at one time), Luniz, or Quinn done to get play on the east coast?? I'd understand your anger if they hustled relentless day and night to get their shit on the radio there, then you'de have a point. But it's still no reason to go and diss 8 million people.... What did that breezy ass Puerto Rican girl that lives on Flatbush Ave ever do to you? :(

you gotta realize that in a mass majority of cases that you need a contract with a major label or distributor to get love on the radio nationwide..... and yet alot of people with a contract like that DON'T get put on rotation. So how much harder do you think it would be for Quinn or Mall to get on?? And i'd be lyin my ass off if i told you i'd rather hear gay ass Ja Rule on the radio instead of Mac Mall or Quinn.

good point i agree with all that. now that kmel is finally playing alot of san quinn and some of the artists that deserve to be getting rotation by dj's i still don't think that ny or the east will support this music. it's just the way it goes. to be honest with u i don't think nelly is that bad. he's got tight beats and lyrics are decent. like u said guys like him had their cd's out at the right time and have the distribution deals to get mainstream airplay. hip hop goes thru phases but there has never been a bay area phase. the bay area deserves it with the enormous talent here.
