Baseball Question (Perfect Games)

My homie asked me this question the other day, and I didn't have an answer.

Say a pitcher has got the first 26 batters out and he has two strikes on the last one. If he strikes him out, but the catcher drops the ball and the batter makes it to first, is it a perfect game still? Doesn't it count as a strikeout for the pitcher still?

My guess would be that it isn't a perfect game, but I dunno.

Well an error would make it not perfect. He could still pitch a no-hitter however...

No, it goes down as a K no matter what, but if he makes it, it's an error.

A perfect game is you get all 27 batters out in a row, no walks, no hits (obviously), and no Errors...

thats why Buerle (Chicago WhiteSox) threw a No hitter, instead of a Perfect game because he walked a guy.

oh yea and to answer to your question, the Pitcher would bitch slap the catcher if it was a clean pitch to catch.

uhh i dont see anywhere in this thread where somebody says that they dont know the difference between a no hitter and a perfect game homie.everybody knows the diff between those two things
