I dont know... I was by the door and seen all the people coming towards me and niggas talking bout guns. I was leaving anyway so I didnt stayto find out. My potnas dad is a coroner and said he went to get a body from that spot this morning. I dont know... might just be a coincidence but with those 2 peices of info it sounded like it went together. If you was there that long you seen more than me. But the phone been ringing and and the streets be talking so aint no telling what happened.

damn tha fuck is wrong wit people out here these days.... take a second to put yourself in the shoes of an A&R or just any hiphop fan outside the bay area.... This event was total CHAOS and BULLSHIT, we couldnt even organize the ONLY supposedly respected and hyped award show in the bay. We had to even fuck this shit up.

San Mateo Police Break Up Hip Hop Concert
(BCN) SAN MATEO, CA Several fights, unruly crowds and mounting unrest at the Bay Area Rap Scene Awards in suburban San Mateo on Saturday evening prompted organizers to end the party early, according to police.
The awards and hip-hop performances at the San Mateo Expo Center was scheduled from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 2495 South Delaware St.
San Mateo police Capt. Kevin Raffaelli reported that uninvited guests climbed on stage and an out-of-control pack near the stage put the safety of the performers and guests at risk.
Law enforcement back ups in addition to police and event security trying to get a handle on the situation were called in at 7:35 p.m. after fights broke out, according to Raffaelli. Authorities remained at the event for about 45 minutes and event promoters decided to clear out the festivities before they were over.
No one was arrested or injured, according to police.

ok the guy who got shot (BY THE POLICE) and i believe whom was also killed happened very fucking far from san mateo, it was on the 880 which wasnt even near the award ceremony....
i was backstage with quinn and the rest of my donedeal fam, all i know was i was passing out energy drinks to sum of my fillmoe fam,laughing and chopping it up,when all of a sudden i hear shit falling over and a big ass crowd running, a natural instinct and or i dont know if its a black thing or not (dont take that to any offense but umm) naturally when mafuckas see people running,they usually run with them mafuckas,and thats what mafuckas did,and this was behind the stage.........i went by quinn and his bodyguard...i had thought that they let lose them mafucka german sheppards cuz i seen so many of em,after all that,mafuckas start running from the back of the stage to the front area, why? cuz police was in they big ass riot gear and sheilds...i dunno what truly happened,but i was on stage with quinn the entire time,they kicked alot of people off the stage after that first quinn song,but i was up there for the remainder of his set.ummmm
this event was very dis-organized,it was set to be a big part of bay area history and all it takes is for 1 person to ruin it,however i met dj pimp in person,he introduced me to alot of great connections,i exchange alot of numbers with alot of bay area artist and managers aswell as a few local community organizations. fuck security,bastards wouldnt let me in with my camera(s) for about an hr and a half,but i got thru,at first w/o my cameras,and then we got them in, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
i cant call it but they should have had more personel and security patroling the artist and making sure that only the artist who was set to perform was the only people back their,but it wasnt. i got in for free even tho i payed 50,and still got my original everything
